Morning!
I've actually gone to work today, to this office! Amazing scenes. I'm going to reward myself with a bacon roll.
TVblog - I wanted to watch the new series of Altered Carbon, but Netflix wasn't having any of it.
Gamesblog - I've knocked down the blueprint-build on the top of the mountain, and have set it to build again.
I reckon the workers got bored previously, so they now have accommodation on-site, as well as a toilet block and somewhere to eat.
I'm not leaving the island til it's done.
However, I also need to put some fully-grown trees in. How do I get those? Seeds?
Amigablog - I bought something earlier in the week that cost mumble mumble pounds, and had a chance to test that it was working. It makes my A1200 thirty-times faster than a base machine.
Also had time to do some jumper-setting on my usual accelerator card, and that now runs faster too.

Just a quick thought - you lot do care enough for those you love to have cast iron wills? Good, what you may not have done is got 2 cast-iron LPAs (Lasting Powers of Attorney), 1 for Health, t'other for the control of your vast fortunes. Joking aside your PMs, besides having to cope the grief etc. with whatever disaster may befall you will find themselves unable to touch any money, objects etc. you own. The Health one is so your PM can intervene and tell the witch doctors trying to pull the plug on you to fuck off.
The LPAs will cost you about £2k for both - under no circumstances do this online.

Regarding inverted controllers, I have found the attached commentary on GiantBomb which may or may not care about impartiality in games journalism, I have no idea these days, but I digress... these online nerds who are a high hit on google say;
“Taking a console first person shooter as an example, by default moving the stick upwards will pan the view upwards, and moving the stick down will pan the view downwards.“
Now I don’t know about you, but i am not in the habit of holding my controller like a harmonica or, conversely, a petrol pump handle (which is the only thing that occurs to me right now). I am a normal person and accordingly I hold my controller in a normal way: buttons on top, R and L pointing at the screen.
So pull up? Pull down? left is down, right is down, look up? Down. Look down? Down. Rotate the sphere that the mushroom thing sits on and it can only possibly go down. It’s all bloody down.

This morning I slipped on the pavement and flung coffee all over myself and the surrounding area. Luckily I'm wearing a dark grey jumper so it isn't visible. Yesterday I accidentally flung an arc of coffee across the pavement in the same spot when my hand slipped pulling on my gloves, but didn't hit any other pedestrians with it. Everything is coming up coffee soaked Dakyl. And I have a three hour seminar this morning, followed by a half hour lunch break and ! Top banana!
The only shaving grace is that I have most of next week off, and a hankering for DS3.
