WTAF is going on - Square just out of the blue dropped the FFVII remake demo onto the PS Store. People had a hunch they might as we got closer to the original release date before the most recent delay (IIRC it was March 3rd?) Why am I not at home crashing the servers in an attempt to download it...why am I at work?

Leap years did not exist pre-1976, that's what I learnt this weekend from my LED watch. I didn't bother changing the date on it. However, on Sunday evening, I noticed it had reset itself. Thus, I was forced to reprogramme it.
Coincidence? I think not. This is probably how Skynet started.

Vascular tell me Thursday 26th March bloody early is my Ablation operation - sorted out transport 6.15 a.m. leaving here (up at 5.15 - Covid-19 here we come) ... double edged sword that one; I've switched my energy tariff to something sensible (it's Green! lots of wind turbines if they stay up!); Podiatry have confirmed they really really will turn up 5 weeks late (even though I have to call them to find out... read mega-rant here) this Friday. Bugger, split a nail... More to do - on a roll? Keep rolling

Games - Far Cry 5. Picked it up with new dawn in a bundle. Shooting virtual cult members is a good substitute for shooting brexiters/republicans in real life. never did get why they moved away from that primal shaman side they started with, I always had fun doing speed runs and slaughtering the bad guys without them knowing where it was coming from! |

Cheers - actually if heredity is anything to go by, my maternal ancestry all have had strong hearts. I have a very striking resemblance to Mum, her mother etc. - I once mistook one of my father's ARPS' membership* submissions of her in portraiture as me in an unguarded moment. Very strange feeling to realise it was her. * amipal will tell you what a massive deal that was - he was only 1 of 5 elected in that category that year. |

The latest one is set in a post nuclear wasteland. I’m glad they’re stepping away from the formula. Same with Ass Creed. Ubisoft seem to be one of the better ones. |

Morning all, off wiggling today so been on the games.
Some of the dark souls 3, top banana. I made it to the cathedral of the deep by cheesing the two hard NPCs on the way, before remembering that bit is possibly optional? Or am I misremembering? Hmmm. Hmmmm. Hmmmmmmmm.
Also more Hunt the showdo . Managed to kill the assassin despite being pared with a complete noob, then immediately got shot in the face trying to escape. I did shoot someone with a crossbow though, top. Banana.
Apparently borises advice on corona flu is to “wash your hands twice to happy birthday”. I happen to know the advice about happy birthday as a measure of time for washing your hands but to most people that just sounds like he’s having a stroke, or something I would say. Also what does twice mean in this context?
