I can't drive* and so have never been able to talk manly car stuff, I must admit that occasionally I wish I could. *Couldn't afford it when I was young, lived in London so didn't need to and now I like alcohol wherever I go and the Pref.Mam, selfishly, won't drive** me around. **we don't have a car so that bit is moot, but if we did we'd still be getting cabs. I nearly went the same way - I passed my farcical motorcycle* test when I lived in London and found a 'bike much quicker through traffic. It wasn't until I got a job which had a (horrible) company car did I have to learn to drive. 65k miles in my first year of driving! I didn't see my house for 64 consecutive days in that a year. *The examiner stepped out in front of the wrong man. I think they passed me out of embarrassment. He wasn't as lucky as this silly bastard. |

Is it bad that I'm thinking about making this into a workable dish in a British 2-person household without a barbecue? |

Nope, I'm already thinking about how to adapt it for an oven, it will also mean I have to buy streaky bacon for the first time in years. I will keep the crisps and grated cheese. <edit>I'd like to work in some potato to make it more British and maybe add a couple of de-skinned sausages shaped into small balls. <edit><edit>and add some fried bread cooked in the bacon fat <edit><edit><edit>Crisps are potatoes, duh. Well that's sorted. |

I'm insane ... I saw the trailer videos and bought Mordheim: City of the Damned - 66% off = £6.09... and bought it. Now I am guessing it's a keyboard masher. I can't use a keyboard or a controller, but it does look good.  |
