Was announcing that many loved ones would die, before going on to advise people to take a week off if they have the flu and not go on cruises if they are dying, a good opener? It didn’t seem like the best way of wording it...

"Let's get coronavirus done" comment: this 'W' is for those who wish to keep a live update going for the numbers of infected/dead. I googled this at around 11 am today and the numbers have increased by 15,000 infected up to 17:50 pm. Also it was around 4,717 that had died this morning, it now registers 4,947. I'm concerned and that is saying a lot as I'm not the kind of person to panic over events. More needs to be done to secure each country and city/town especially where public transport is concerned, train, underground etc. I've bought all the food and coffee, guess what I forgot! If there is a 10 week build up, 10-14 weeks of bad and 10 week cooldown a hell of a lot of businesses will be fucked. I don't think many are prepared for 6 months of very little activity.
My guess is the government will end up doing things that are not what you would expect from Conservatives in order to support people with no income.

Fuckwits; anyone with problematic breathing and a compromised immune system will be likely to die following this 'advice'. There's no granularity to the advice - different categories of people will need to respond differently. Dropping the ambient temperature will challenge even the healthiest if you're exhibiting the symptoms. |

Well I just watched Ep6* of Picard, a series I've enjoyed up to now, and it was rubbish.
Plot holes so big that even I can't ignore them, emotional beats that were awful and tonally wrong and generally a mess.
Here's hoping it was a one off.
