Hello. On the early train so I can get to Morrisons near my work at 8am as an attempt to panic buy.
Let's see what pearls of wisdom todays emergency corporate management team meeting get dripped down the line. Our corporate comms yesterday decided to go with the message that libraries were closing due to staff shortages - which is bullshit. For some reason they couldn't or wouldn't push the public/staff health message everywhere else is. Smh.
I see Brewdog are making handgel for folk that need it. Err, isn't that everyone?
TV. No. Games. About 30 mins of Far Cry 5. Helped and recruited Grace.

Morning. Looks like I have an online meeting today, so presumably will have to put some clothes on for the first time in three days.
Telly: started Ray Donovan and True Detective s2 last night. They were sort of ok.

Morning all,
FC5 chat from yesterday. I can see why there may not be the love for it comparedto previous versions. There's something missing, it does make what should be great fun a bit repetitive at points.
The chaotic aspect whereby you are alone on a hill one minute and seconds later have a helicopter, 3 wolverines and several quad bikes descend from nowhere runs from amusing to tedious.
anyway, hope all are doing well and keeping up ok.

The guy in my local shop said that someone he had never seen before came in the other day and bought all the toilet rolls, so now he is keeping it in the back room and you have to be in the know to ask him to go and get you some - it's quite exciting, I've never had a 'connection' before. Fingers crossed I don't end up ODing on Andrex Supersoft.

Morning DQB2 issues resolved. tenthenemy and amipal were both correct, or I was doubly wrong. Babs' nameplate was in the wrong place, so when I re-hung it the blueprint cleared and the minions were suitably impressed. It still however wouldn't let me write her name on it. Turn out I had also exceeded the homezone so no option but knock it down and rebuild the whole thing somewhere else. This has however shown me how to re-use a blueprint (add back to inventory) which i'd been puzzling over, so everything is coming up Babs. Gibberish

The acoustically dynamic duo upstairs breached Mr Tids guidelines of fair & decent behaviour, again, last night. What could one do, in order to demonstrate the folly of this otherwise pious couple's actions? Like a ship coming into view over the horizon, an idea hove into view. Working feverishly, Tids downloaded a fart generator app to his mobile phone and then plugged it into a pair of speakers. A solid 10 minute medley of excruciating sounds ensued. Thus, all was quiet.
Dear reader, I derived no pleasure from these actions at all.*
* May be a fib.

The grandparents are refusing to babysit as they want to isolate themselves away. If the nurseries shut I could be in trouble.

A friend of mine sent me this yesterday:
"I saw Dusty Springfield in B&Q the other day. She walked up to me and said 'I just don't know what to do with my shelf'"

I went to the supermarket last night, there was feck all on the shelves.
Cool story Also, my friend Toby reckons hes got the proper Covid symptoms, temperature and cough. He reports feeling 'really shitty' but is yabbering away on the whatsapp and seems still in decent spirits.

I also got a bit of FC5 in last night, ignored story and missions, went prepper stash hunting instead, need those perk points.

Right, I think I will download FC5 and possibly Spoderman too, once I have finished the platinum on Outlook.

I guess technically Pornhub Live could be considered an "online meeting" but it doesn't really require clothes.

scamanderWhat lessons do the ancients have for us in our present plight? Did the Greeks ever get forced to philosophise from home? Did the Romans ever run out of those sponges on sticks they used to wipe their arses with?

Did the Romans ever run out of those sponges on sticks they used to wipe their arses with? I've been using the cat's litter tray, then using the cat to wipe my arse. It's not happy about it, but what's it gonna do? Grass me up to the RSPCA? I think not.

Picked the extra holster, stealth chain combo, parachute, grapple, lockpick and auto repair. So far extra person, extra holster, parachute, grapple, two extra health and auto repair. Those are the ones I can remember anyway. Want to get the extra ammo/item ones. Ran out of arrows at one point, which is frustrating when you’re doing really well with a stealth run.

I listen a lot to the World Service and heard an interesting and somewhat alarming interview with Andrea Crisanti... it's in the Latest News 05:42... Even over a long time the majority of infected people are and remain entirely asymptomatic and remain so.That is fucking terrifying. If there are cases in your area and you are wandering about, you may have caught or be likely to catch and pass on the virus to everyone you meet, including those you love. Given the very low % of the population in that study who were symptomatic, you can draw your own conclusions about the need for your 'at risk' relations to self-isolate. Andrea Crisanti was part of the Imperial College team that produced this important report, and he is Andrea Crisanti, direttore del laboratorio di Microbiologia e virologia dell'Università di Padova: "Monitorare i tanti asintomatici" ... you'll have to work at this video as you're going to have to use auto-translate to get the gist of this. I believe it was this and the report that has prompted, justifiable and rapid response from Matt Hancock. The major difficulty is that the assumptions that Western governments, including our own, have been making about how and why the virus spreads has been based on identifying and quarantining symptomatic cases. That's why I find it so terrifying - I may never get out of this house. Those of you still in the 'denial' or 'anger' phases...
