I still remember fighting maneater and killing one of them. Then the other flew off and refused to play.
I left it for ages and he didn't come back. Eventually I had to turn it off and redo the fight.
That was frustrating as I really really struggled against them. The next few times I came close I fell off the bridge.

I only beat Flamelurker because he got stuck behind something and I was able to stand there twatting him in the physiognomy. Same thing happened with Gazza in Bloodborne. Great story. I had something sort of similar with one of the Bloodborne dlc bosses. It was like it couldn't tell where I was, so was just jumping about attacking nothing in particular. Had that not happened I probably would have given up.

Pref.Mam and I have got into the habit of going for a walk when they finish work, we live out of town and there is a park nearby, today we went down town as she's on leave to get a bit of food*, it took a lot of willpower not to go into my local pub or in our favourite restaurant for me to have a large glass of wine, tea and cake for her.
Why advise people not to go to these places?
*Well look at the empty shelves, came back with milk and lots of snacks.

The 12y-o's Dad died suddenly last weekend. Bit shitty. The 12y-o and Mammal who Tolerates me were total drama queens about it, and just assumed that meant the 12y-o would live with us and the PS4 full time. They don't even seem bothered the football's been postponed so it's particularly annoying for me. Then I had another hissy fit when it took so long for you lot to notice my absence.
So this Coronavirus malarkey, eh?

I have a large stock of ethanol hand gel and tonic, but I'm worried about running out of lemons.

I assume you're cranky because Jeff hasn't delivered your copy yet? <edit>Also I enjoy researching new games. You do whatever is fun for you. You are right, no sign of my copy and I'm just lashing out. Should I have been relying on dropping heavy, and I mean heavy, hints to my sis-in-law, just so to save some money when she asked what I wanted for my birthday? It is nerve racking that I have even less control over the process than usual when it comes to ordering from Jeff. These people have no idea of the responsibility they have right now.

I am glad you have stopped moping quite so much.
My advice is don't indulge Shenguin. He has been panic buying self-pity all week.

(Ignore me, I'm lashing out because the football's cancelled.)

I have a large stock of ethanol hand gel and tonic, but I'm worried about running out of lemons. Just suck on your posts... Seriously, I feel for you Shen, It's going to be a tough time for kids. Nursey told me of a separated couple with a young kid who's got the full c-19 symptoms. The father is living with his very ill and old father. The boy wants to see his gramps and vice versa ... so it's going to happen. Nursey reckons that the old fellow has had enough and knows he is unlikely to survive so wants to see his grandson before he goes. That's shitty enough, but I can't help feeling that the old guy is being selfish... that child may later in life work out that he was the indirect cause of his grandfather's death. That's a horrible thing to burden someone with.

Why advise people not to go to these places? Either you think restricting people's liberties is against the traditional Tory values held by the ignorant idiots that voted you in, you have a lot of friends with a lot of money invested in the insurance industry or a mixture of the two.

The people of Saltdean are doing strong work at maintaining self-isolation. A couple of nights ago, both the bar and pub down the road had regulars boozing away. And last night, a fenced-football pitch near the park had a group of 20-somethings having a game of football. And you know how sweaty and handsy footballers are.
They were also parked on the grass verge, despite a free car park being 100ft down the road. This fact in itself makes them all worse than Hitler.
