Games - Far Cry 5 - another couple of prepper stashes, and a mission for the CIA guy. Going to do the story missions soon. Finish Joseph Seeds section and then I’ll be back to where I was last time.

Lovely day here, almost makes you forgot about the impending apocalypse.
Games: A few games of Fortnite with my brother, we were our worst for some time and I don't know whether it's a matchmaking thing or my ageing reflexes.

I watched this. It was very good. OTTM: I deployed the 'fart cannon' last night for 1 minute. Seems to do the trick, although I'm getting a bit bored with it. My wife wants a 'washing machine on full spin cycle' app. She really hates the woman upstairs. |

It looks like that looting in London was just scallies nicking booze. Pah! That happens all the time here in Sheffield! Many a time I have seen a hoodlum enter Sainsbury's mini in town pick up a crate and fuckin' bomb off.

The Ice Maiden upstairs has blocked her kitchen sink drain up. There are various possibilities as to the cause of this.
a) All the commercial laundry she's been doing has bitten her on the ass.
b) 'Bad energy' from non-believers.
c) Tids done it.
@turnip chat. My wife threw away a perfectly healthy one yesterday. Great story etc..

I'm not sure I've encountered an actual Boss yet? It always seems to be various different swarms and then checkpoints. Not sure how far through I actually am.

I didn't like the last Doom.
I couldn't get my head around the rushing everyone to get health.That is not how I play Doom.
I am a hang back and shoot 'em Doom guy. The mechanism was exactly the opposite of how I wanted to play. Very disappointing. I am not saying it was a bad game, but it was not for me. I did download Doom, Doom 2 and Doom 3 and I still like those a lot.
It is amazing how one tiny change to the mechanics just spoiled the game for me I could nit get n to it. I tried a few times.
I did like the recent Wolfensteins. I think am a good part of the way through the first and I bought the others cheap (except for the one with the girls* in it)
* it hasn't been £4 yet. That is my limit for a Wolfenstein game. I am not boycotting it because of horrible sexism. Well not at the moment.

I'm still in work while they figure out if we have the capability to work from home. In the meantime we've been issued with paint removing wipes to sanitise our hands despite them having no antibacterial properties.
Games - Spent most of last night playing Shenmue 3 in an attempt to ignore my preferred mammal playing her digital copy of Animal Crossing which had unlocked as it was already today in Japan. Cow.
Panic buying - Verdant are doing free delivery on one of their beers at less than £4 a can. I bought 12. I'm now planning to alternate these and some Deya I bought with supermarket ones in a bid to numb the boredom lockdown.
