Tom Nook is seriously dodgy, well I paid off first debt now waiting for a house and another building to be build. I've paid off my tent debt with his weird crypto currency, the first phase of my house and have the cash to cover the second when it's completed tomorrow morning. Been on the couch catching fish since this morning. My job has given me a high tolerance to boredom, which I'm putting to good use. I have no idea if this is ganes, OTTM, or OTTDM.

Also, someone put a note through our door asking if we were all OK and to call if we need help, food, a chat. No offer of booze. Sub human scum. I am not giving you my booze. We have been through this before. I will send in the army to feed you.

It is a game. Assassins crossing or Animal Creed. Something like that.
Not as good as Dark Souls 2.

Are the mortgage negotiations in place of boss fights?

Are the mortgage negotiations in place of boss fights? Inviting your friend to your island and watching them trash it is probably the Animal Crossing equivalent of a boss fight.

And another AoW3 campaign ends... and so Suxanne, a High Elven Warlord starts the long ascent to domination of the 6 realms...

Sunday question. Why are 'triple A' or 'AAA' video ganes so called? Surely the most obvioud analogy is with the battery hierarchy, but it's well known that AAA batteries are the puniest in their class, not the most spectacular. This one's kept me awake half the night.

Funny you should mention batteries. My chronograph watch has just died, so I'm now sporting an LED watch. I give it 30 minutes before it resets itself.
'Triple A'? That's anti-aircaft artillery. That's all I got. Soz.

Morning all, and happy Mother's Day to all you mothers.
We've had a fantastic start to the day by having our son kicking and screaming for an hour straight - good times.
Gamesblog - nope! TVblog - Picard. Filmblog - Hellboy (the David Harbour one). Well, half of it. Entertaining enough. 4* Amigablog - new HD moved to primary and CD-ROM drive reattached. All running nicely now. I should be able to get the case back on now.

I'd always assumed it meant games that had been officially endorsed by the Automobile Association of Australia. I guess I could be wrong, but I doubt it.

I’m getting a head start on isolation diy by sorting out the garden. My idea? Absolutely not. Thank god the tip is still open for one more day. Closing tonight until this is all over.

Dump run? Can you take the old coffee machine and kettle from the garage.
I'm busy making minestrone. Cheers.

My first AC and I spent 3 hours, chopping trees, catching fish, being killed by spiders, picking fruit and talking to The Man*. This is the Crack cocaine of a video game and its for children! *Who continually leads you into further debt. <edit>I pray for tenthenemy when Jeff finally delivers. IF he delivers, by the look of it, but thank you for thoughts and prayers, they are needed. Pref. Mam. talked to his sister last night and gently raised the issue of the missing game copy. Upshot is that sis-in-law thought she had pre-ordered it but hadn't given it much thought since then (*ANIMAL CROSSING WITHDRAWAL SYMPTOMS INTENSIFY*) and will have another look at her account at Jeffy B's today. No, she hadn't heard that delivery of items classed as 'non-essential' (PLEASE GOD LET ME GO GLAMPING WITH TOM NOOK) has been delayed. She asks whether it's available now. (IT SAYS IT'S TEMPORARILY OUT OF STOCK WHAT HAVE I EVER DONE TO DESERVE THIS) So yeah, I'm playing DQB2 myself.

I, too, have an old coffee machine and kettle in the garage that need to be taken to the dump. Doesn't everyone? My garage was a room long before I moved in in 1998. At the moment, I have little there which is dump worthy... I have a couple of newspapers, but it looks like I'm going to have to cut them up and use them in lieu of loo paper... Speaking of which, when I tried to update my Tesco order last night, by the time I had looked for replacement items for the loo paper and protein drinks that are keeping my inanition at bay, yet more of the items I'd ordered had gone out of stock. My small stock of sympathy for those who've overbought into a strong desire to give the cunts a good kicking, even though I can only raise my leg up to shin level. Still, I'd give them a very sore shin... very slowly. Perhaps a posse should be sent, with our noble leader astride his capybara, to admonish them. Or we could send this lot...

I also played a game last night. Far Cry 5. Took down one of the lieutenants, had to fly a plane to do it. Now to go get the bear!
