Technically I am a fire hazard. That is probably not a surprise to anyone who has met me. I am alone in the office with all the doors including the fire exit locked. There is unlikely to be a fire unless I start playing with matches.
The obvious day for someone to arrange for our fire extinguishers to be serviced - without telling me.
I have been able to maintain distancing and have washed everything thoroughly

Hi.
Ganes: Control - nearly finished. It's good, maybe a bit samey and has a totally incomprehensible story, but the graphics are pretty incredible and the gameplay is a lot of fun. Need to finish it to make space to download something new - Spoderman, FC5 and AC Origins currently under consideration. Obviously I have already ruled out the 75 unplayed games in my library.
Telly: Ninja Warrior and Veep on Now TV. Both tremendous.
Ottm: looking forward to Aberdeen 7 - 2 Motherwell from 2017 'live' on youtube this evening. I was drunk when I watched it in real life, so it will be like watching it fresh. I do vaguely recall that it included a goal of the season, quite a lot of horrific defending, and poor old Mark McGhee becoming a viral sensation after getting goaded into a sending off and subsequently losing it in the direction of fans with cameras.

I had time for one COD game, during which the baby woke up so I had to run around like crazy looking for a gunfight before picking her up and I died pretty soon after.
In hindsight having children really eats into precious gaming time.

News from the Tent Hen Tent, now upgraded to a Tent Hen House thanks to a small, interest free loan from a dodgy raccoon dog:
Managed to secure another Ocado delivery in a week's time, even with a choice of delivery slots at reasonable times of the day! The sheer luxury and indulgence are almost too much to comprehend. It's good to see that they are obviously slowly getting on top of things, but on the other hand the business must be printing money right now. There's hardly any special offers or bargains to be had, everything is full price but at least it's there. Even my favourite snacking nuts are available again! I might have ordered too many snacks but somehow we have to stay sane.
This morning my medicine supply arrived. It seems that parcel services no longer ring the doorbell and instead just shove a card through the letterbox to let you know where they've hidden your parcel. Funny how we've gone from being incensed by to being grateful for this kind of practice within a couple of weeks.
Also, in case you haven't seen it yet, here's my new favourite ever thing

TV. Avenue 5. Very amusing. Ganes. Division Twa. Back in NY baby. AC:NH Bought a house, got a pole, planted some pears. Who's got what fruit? We've oranges, pears, coconuts. Swapsies? Apples (native) and pears. Swapsies, absolutely. Need to organise myself a bit, I've still haven't managed to visit any island with the Nook tickets that are piling up because I've been so busy with my own island. Happy to help out with resources and recipes. Yesterday one of my villagers went into self-isolation with a bad cough. I had completely forgotten about this kind of thing until another one told me that she was poorly. Here's where the life simulation is getting uncomfortably close to reality, but at least in the game you can a) still visit them and b) give them medicine that cures them. What if your whole island population would be wiped out by the virus? I haven't started the game today to see whether they stay sick for three days or whether this has been sped up like so many other aspects of previous AC games. I still find it hilarious that I'm changing clothes in the refrigerator. No matter how many wardrobes I will get, I won't have it any other way. Oh, and after hours of collecting clams for fish bait, making bait, using bait, fishing, selling fish, rinse and repeat in the time before the clock struck midnight on the last day of March I have no stringfish to show for my efforts. Guess we all have to wait until December. Unless the stringfish is indeed a myth.

How do you turn a duck into a soul singer? Put it in the microwave until it's Bill Withers.
I'm sure he'd have wanted someone to tell that one on this sad day.

I have 9 pints of Landlord Pale Ale and 2 packets of generic Black Country pork scratchings. Beat that.
I would have had more pork scratchings but I’m trying to be socially responsible and leave some for Pete in these trying times.
