I have 9 pints of Landlord Pale Ale and 2 packets of generic Black Country pork scratchings. Beat that. I would have had more pork scratchings but I’m trying to be socially responsible and leave some for Pete in these trying times. I have 62 bottles of wine and some Pretzels. |

I had something more than 48 bottles of wine and 6 bottles of champagne at the start of the week, but I’ve been at them with a degree of vim and gusto that would be misplaced in normal circumstances, so that number is slightly diminished.

Plus 50 or so bottles of wine
And some whiskies.

I bought wine because of Brexit.
The Old Empire was £1.25 in Sainsbury so I have been desperately buying it all year.
The rest is just sundry alcoholic paraphernalia.
My reckless spending on booze is paying off.

I have half a Stormtroopers helmet decanter of Tennesse Honey. But then I dont drink much. Its been there for a year.

Proper absinthe.
There is only about 1/4 of a bottle left. I haven't touched the stuff in years.
It is unlikely to have gone off as it is 70% ABV.
Enough for some serious dreams. I also have sugar and matches.
Not tonight though. I have just finished some appalling book I was sort of recommended*. I do not want those scenes imprinted. I need proper mind bleach

It was pretty well written and the ending was oddly uplifting even though it was at best ambiguous.
The animal torture and the decidedly mean minded grotty sex which made up 80% of the book were less uplifting
Four stars. would probably not recommend
*it wasn't actually recommended. My friend did say it was well written, but she had not liked it at all and stopped reading it when the kangaroo got run over. Which was before the grot really started.

I'm totally spannered.
I'm nearing the end of chapter 2* of The Irishman. It's just what I expected. Five stars.
*I cannot watch 3.5 hours in one night, so decided to break it down into 3.
I've not had any absinthe since new years eve when I was filmed "dancing". I'll never touch it again. It was truly shocking. Lionel Ritchies All night long was where the sinthe really kicked in.
I don't really like going out, but now that I can't I really want to.
M&S was weird. Limited people allowed in obvs. But then some people were mingling looking at similar items next to each other,with no issue, plus others looking at you like a fucking cunt* if you walked passed them, then scuttling away.
I'm not sure I like the new world order.
