Alright y’all. No massive news here. Last night was first night I hadn’t had a drink for a while so slept like a baby. Didn’t play many games & just watched crap on YouTube. May play my 2nd playthrough if resi 3 with some extra bits. Lovely stuff.

Three weeks on, and our local pharmacy still doesn't have a replacement for the boy's daily preventative puffer in... I get the feeling that the drug may be being utilised on the front-line.
Ever since he's had the preventative puffer, we haven't had to go to hospital with him for his breathing. So the worry is that if we don't get one, and he comes down with breathing issues, we'll have to visit childrens' A&E... and that's the last thing we want to be doing with him in the current situation.
We have around twenty days left on the current puffer, so exploring other options (including online delivery).

Behold the scientific projection 20 years hence of the future of the "avid gamer". Some of you may actually see your situation improve in the next 20 years! Not the worst looking sex doll that's been posted on here.

You may recall my ranting about the new neighbours employing peninsula parking so their relations and friends parked down the middle of the road (cul-de-sac) so blocking parking and access for 3 other houses. That has tailed off and now stopped with the onset of the quarantine ... The prevalence of cases of covid 19 has not stopped these fuckwits of parents in turn setting out at 9 am every morning to do shopping ... that's trebling the risk to their two v small kids. Their business ... However, this morning they have their soffits and gutters being replaced... in complete disregard for everyone else, they've blocked emergency access to 5 houses by parking their vehicles side by side with the fitters bloody great van... only antisocial distancing in sight. This is the irresponsible

ChumblesInconsiderate parking is one of my top bugbears. Arseholes. We still need to get the leak fixed in our conservatory, but there's no way I'm having the fitters come over if they're in and out of different households all day - that would be madness. I'd rather have some discoloured plaster than putting the family at risk.

I will now just leave in on as I just installed the latest Windows update.
Steak and Jacket potato for dinner tonight.

amipal Really bad situation. Hope that you can somehow get hold of the inhaler he needs. My advice is badgering the GP to see whether they can prescribe an alternative. Another, even better option is contacting the hospital where he had been seen in the past as hospitals have a much better chance of sourcing any form of medication than local pharmacies. You can be sure that at A&E they don't want to see the boy, either.

We also live in a cul-de-sac. Ourselves and 5 other houses have drives. 3 of those have SUV's that they never park in the drive making it hard to get in and out. What is it about folk in cul-de-sacs. Oh.
One of these folk brought over bunting for the child to paint for when we're out of lockdown. Cheers, you're not 2 metres away you fuckin idiot and your bunting is going in this poly bag for 72 hrs. What's that? Your wife has breathing problems...

Evening all.
Much more FF7:R last night. Blew up another reactor, met Aerith (no longer 'flower peddler'), choked up a little as Aerith's theme started playing, fought some Turks and have left it just before I journey back to see Tifa. I suspect a battle with a huge living house will be coming up soon. Those bastards caused my first game over in the original. Combat difficulty is starting to ramp up now. Doesn't really help that Aerith seems to get one shot every 2 mins. Suppose she has got form. I have to agree with mlu (and most reviewers it seems), hell of a game you should all try.
I almost bundled up the PS4 to bring into work, but thought that was taking things a bit too far. Maybe tomorrow.

Speaking of difficulties obtaining medication, I made an online request for one type of hypertension tablets from my GP last week after my hospital consultant told me that I'm grounded for twelve weeks. The pharmacy had started having trouble sourcing the larger dose tablets and so I asked the GP some time ago to change the prescription to half the dose taken twice. They did so but forgot the "take twice" instruction until I pointed out the mistake. They changed the instructions but not the amount, with the result that I always only get enough for a fortnight and constantly have to ask for another prescription.
Under the current circumstances that obviously won't do, so I added a note to my request explaining that I'm isolating and asking for a larger amount. Throughout last week up until the weekend the request was 'pending' until I got a phone call from the surgery today. They said they had got the note about wanting a larger amount but didn't know what medicine I wanted. That was strange and did not inspire confidence. So I told the woman what I needed and she ended the conversation with "leave it with me".
So had another look online only to discover that my prescription request was now no longer 'pending'. Instead it was shown as having been rejected. In the meantime I have run out of those tablets so I was getting a bit agitated and phoned the surgery.
I was met with an out of hours recording telling me the surgery was now closed. I had a hard time believing that, had a look at their opening times online and then remembered that although the surgery is open they aren't answering the phone between 1:30 and 2:30 p.m. They tell you that in another recording that you hear when you phone outside but not during these times. [insert facepalm emoji]
So I waited until 2:30 p.m. and phoned again. Engaged. So I gave it 10 minutes or so and tried again. Another recording, instructing me to 'press 1' for prescription requests for housebound patients. So I pressed one and listened for some minutes as no one picked up.
Hung up and tried phoning again but didn't want to bother the receptionist without giving the prescription request people another chance, so hung up, phoned again, pressed 1 and finally got through. "We've just talked. Why are you phoning again?" Well, because I hadn't seen at the time that my prescription request had been rejected. "That's because it's too soon." Err, I have actually run out of tablets and was overdue getting another prescription? "Just leave it with me."
So I left it with her. After wasting almost an hour of my time on the phone.

I'm also not sure about phoning hospitals at present due to the emergency. My partner's done an online prescription this evening that should hopefully see a brown-puffer drop through the letterbox within ten days... we'll see!

Still having PC issues, I turned it off to see if it was fixed and it wasn't, multiple reboots eventually lead to the bios where I can get in via the boot section, very strange. Welcome to my my life. I have to turn it on, wait for it to get stuck at the first screen, then immediately reboot where it will then behave normally. Every goddamn time. Might be the power source on the way out or one of many other things.

Also at some point over the last week, I finished s1 of The Good Place, hadn’t seen the twist coming, great show. It is wonderful, S3 dips a bit but it finishes really well, I may have shed a tear.

I am not avoiding you... My PC's internet connection has gone weird... I've had to resorts to the squitty tiny mobile display just to let you know this. My main rig is not even allowing me to open a bloody Chrome or Firefox home page! Hopefully a reset once the US of fucking A has stopper throttling the DNS servers will restore sanity... -
