Monday, another day working from home. Lovely sunshine yesterday and now a chance to slice off work and it's damp and miserable everywhere.

Morning.
Games - yes - Far Cry 5, took down the second boss, so I have 2/3 areas cleared, and well on to the 3rd. Giving up on stealth, full kaboom all the way.

I'm not so sure that the stealth mechanics work as they did in the previous games. Btw you can snipe the alarms which will alert the enemy but does prevent them from being used. I bought Cities Skylines. It's intense and very addictive. That said I should get back into FC5.

I'm not sure I am going to get on with mafia 3. Feels very sluggish and long winded after Control.

Nice and sunny here.
Fortnite is matchmaking me with the big boys now so I am taking a break from being mullered and instead played a bit more Borderlands 3 and installed an Immersive Armour mod in Skyrim. I installed some others too, but they have "conflicts" and will not work.
Also Ozark series 3 is fantastic, way better than the last two.
Sunny out.

I set up my old gym equipment on Saturday, did some shoulder and arm work. Next weekend, I'll start working on my chest.

Also Ozark series 3 is fantastic, way better than the last two. Goany tell MrsC that. She's not bothered by it now and it's sitting to be watched. I'd watch it on the commute - but the walk downstairs doesn't take very long.
TV- The Detroiters / Avenue 5 Games -
Levelling up in TD2:WONY. Did a mission with two cleaners with MASSIVE flame throwers. Animal Crossing. Not enough time due to above levelling up. pah. Gathering stuff to build the shop and nearly enough for the museum.

They need to check the CCTV footage for Carole Baskin skulking around with a syringe, imo.

Lovely Day sirA KKK hood should work and also protect you from racist harassment by the police
First Dog is still the best. There is also a lovely pic of Pooh Bear and Piglet social distancing. I cant post it here. It's a few days old so many of you will have seen it already.

Mafia 3 is laughably repetitive. Go to warehouse, spend 20 minutes shooting your way through it, get to guy who tells you to go to another warehouse. Spend 20 minutes shooting your way through it, get to guy who tells you to go back to the previous warehouse. Spend 20 minutes shooting your way through it again....
Which was a shame as there's a good game in there somewhere.

Hello all.
Just been to the butchers, so should now have enough meat for the week. Including a nice half-leg of lamb for Sunday - I am very much looking forward to that.
Gamesblog - installed the FFVII Remake data disc for my partner. 40 mins of watching a progress bar - HOT. If I wanted slow copies, I'd boot up my Amiga... HEY!
TVblog - 30 Rock, and finally a good episode of TNG - RELICS!
Amigablog - James Pond 2: Robocod.

Morning y'all. My copy of FFVII remake arrived mid-afternoon Friday. There is a day one patch coming this Friday (as are my pre-order bonus item digital codes). Did I wait to play it? Did I fcuk. Am curently eight hours in (although I like to walk everywhere rather than run, Cloud is too cool to run unless absolutely necessary). Here's my spoiler-free review. Do you like video james? If yes. Buy FFVII remake. If not, what're you doing here? You want something a bit more detailed? Ok, so technically I've not noticed anything glitchy yet, runs smooth, looks lovely. Aurally, the music, oh my god the music. Four stars. Gameplay, absolutely bonkers and good, as FFVII should be. My one minor gripe is that battles against mobs of more than three enemies can become a bit button mashy on normal setting as it's tough to focus on your three characters plus seven enemies at the same time. When it's a one vs one or three vs one giant enemy, it's sweeeeeet. If you knock it over to turn-based, according to the in-game description, it lowers the combat difficulty, which is a shame as I'd like to do all mob battles turn-based but with this level of difficulty. Please fix this SQEENIX. Pretty please. OTTM: bored of the hairdressers being closed, so it's a number one all over tonight. Not done that myself in a long while.

PC working again, it was a boot order issue. I am now terrified of of turning the damn thing off.
First things first is to create a recovery disk and copy out some important information.
Whooo!

So no need to give the pc the order of the boot?

So no need to give the pc the order of the boot? I had literally just spent £12 on a recovery utilities disc, luckily I was able to cancel it.

Download the iso from MS and grab the drivers from the manufacturer. You'll end up with fewer windows updates as they update the iso's every so often.

Not surprised that it didn't work last night, PC Boot tends to come on early in the morning.
