So who is in control of the TV remote in your house?
Obviously it's me in mine, I may not be able to choose the programs but Goddamnit I push the buttons like a real man.

A great actor, when you stopped laughing his ability to act in Who Framed Roger Rabbit with all the distractions of live-action animated production shone through

A bit of a Non sequitur but you're right.
<edit>Doh! Just scrolled up to the top and now see what you mean.
<edit><edit>That was one hell of a film, the first time I saw him was in Pennies from Heaven by Dennis Potter, which he amusingly named his tumour Rupert, who is still alive.

A bit of a Non sequitur but you're right. I didn't realise you'd been elected Kapellmeister; I'll leave you to it. Good night

It's fine. Things are dogs one day, and then they're ex-dogs the next day. No biggie, that's just the way it goes.
I need to make sure there's enough freezer space first.
Morning Everyone! I am so fucking busy. There's too much work. It's getting up in my grills.

I've run out of booze, no idea how I'm going to get through the morning.
OTTM: I had an experimental shave last night, it went badly. I thought I'd have a wet one and just leave a moustache, y'know, to go with the watch. Unfortunately, due to circs (pissed), I have actually given myself half a 'tache. It's quite the look. Not exactly on the levels of 'Geek Pie', but close.
*shuffles off to bathroom armed with shaving foam*

I've also messed up with the booze amounts. I'm somehow left with three beers to do me a long weekend. There is gin but don't get a lemon/lime delivery till Sun. Mrs C has wine.
Games. A little AC:NH. A little TD2 with Randoms.

I'm now being dragged odd to Lidl, sans 'tache.

Give quarantine another week and one of you is going to try and shave a dog when pissed. The clap for the NHS is all well and good but where I am they all seem to have voted Tory for the last forever, kind of makes you think they don't really want to help it. The death of the doctor who said there wasn't enough PPE is a shame.

Can you imagine coming off a long shift at the hospital, finally able to drag yourself into bed for a well-earnt sleep, and the street erupts into the bashing of pots'n'pans, clapping and fireworks?
Thanks guys, but I'd rather get to sleep.

Hullo.
Games: no. Still pondering the options since sacking off Mafia III.
Telly: True Detective 3. It is good. I like it.
Ottm: Although obviously I did not wish him to die, the problem with BoJo recovering is that he now has a personal story which will add credibility to his protestations about how much he loves the NHS, which in turn will help him get away with whatever 'restructuring' he and Dom deem necessary. It was the same with Cameron's personal story and the 2012 Health and Social Care Act.

Torquemada, aka Nursey, is due sometime fairly soon, but I just wanted to express my genuine appreciation for our " Ancient Blogger"* scamander, whose erudition and delivery of his Lucius podcast was light years ahead of what I could ever achieve... Bravo 4 and a big bit stars *Just put those words into a search engine and you'll find his excellent website. I am in awe.

Wasn't really that "Good" for Jesus. I made the same comment last Good Friday, pretty original eh. Also this from then: "Shenguin 19 Apr 2019 at 07:09 via mobile Good morning and Good Friday to everyone! It's looking like another lovely day here; the birds are singing sweetly and the sky is clear and morning-blue"

The What the Fuck is Wrong With People files:
1) One of my wife's friends finished a 12hr shift in A&E last night only to find all her car windows had been smashed in.
2) My mate popped to the co-op yesterday, only to witness two yoots trying to stab a security guard.
3) last night I was subjected to a couple of minutes of something called "High School Musical"
I don't know which of the above is worse.

Hello
Last night I finally resorted to ordering hair clippers from ebay as my hair is out of control.
My daughters are looking forward to extracting revenge for past haircuts inflicted on them as children.

The What the Fuck is Wrong With People files:
1) I went to the corner shop yesterday afternoon, the woman in front of me in the queue outside gave me a barrage about how the ozone layer was moving towards Plymouth, '..and it'll be here soon!'. When Tids left the shop, she was hanging around outside, giving some other dude a lecture on the Northern Lights. 'Y'know, the Northen Lights, they're in the Antarctic..'.

Also this from then: "Shenguin 19 Apr 2019 at 07:09 via mobile Good morning and Good Friday to everyone! It's looking like another lovely day here; the birds are singing sweetly and the sky is clear and morning-blue" I must have been drunk. 2019, you say? Yep, I was drunk in 2019.
According to my calendar, I left work early the previous day to pick up an order from the supermarket, and later on the Friday went to see Birmingham v Derby draw 2-2. In the evening we went round to see friends. It was a particularly pleasing evening for me, as I distinctly remember not being the drunkest dick in the room.
This year, I've just finished a week's holiday in a cottage in Devon 100 yards from a pub in a small village with beautiful wildflower hedgerows, and a mile from the beach. I'm currently heading up to Brum to watch Birmingham v Swansea.
Or I'm lying unwashed in a fetid bed, writing procedure notes for dealing with COVID-19, trying to remotely manage confused people, and trying to ignore lawnmower and PS4 sounds.
Ah, could be much worse. I ain't complainin'. Except about the football.
Edit: On the plus side, I achieved a 13 kill Victory Royale after landing at the Agency whilst typing the above. I am the best at delegating.
