Anyone having any success with online grocery ordering? I’ve been trying Waitrose but they only seem to have slots for the next two days, which are all fully booked. Anyone know when they release them? Can’t use Ocado as a neophyte and Morrison’s seems to be perpetually booked up. Same here with Tesco and Morrison's - think it's a bit area dependent, i.e. which delivery area they are. If you're entirely housebound because of health reasons then you could try your local council, if they agree that you fit their criteria then they may allocate a volunteer shopper. (I cannot help calling mine Wu Julee, as she's a Julie). You will need to set them up as a payee, as you obviously cannot hand them a credit card or cash. This process takes awhile so don't leave it until the last minute. You could also try Amazon Pantry - but they are more expensive than the supermarkets. |

Talking of art imitating life.. The child is arsing my resources in AC:NH. I'm saving for a shop and she needed stuff to "make mum a vaulting pole" and then she needed an iron nugget for a mirror - so she could change her hair to go with her new dress. Thank tenthenemy for the dress she loves it. We had leftover chilli & cheese toasties followed by the sacred ceremony of the cracking of the first Easter egg. Praise be to John Cadbury. Needs must, getting your priorities right, etc. I can send you mail you some iron, I've got plenty. I had also already wrapped the hat when I found that it's two letters per day per person.
