Cricket was good. Finished polishing my large collection of locker keys whilst listening to it.

I watched the last half hour of it. Tense stuff and a great result.

I managed to finish yakuza kiwami and south park last night, and now I very got nothing to play. Well, when I say I've got nothing to play I mean I've got nothing I can be arsed playing.
I'm going to attempt to study while watching the football now, but it'll probably just distract from the football without me making much progress.

Finished Mipha's challenge, my favourite so far. Solved the intricate puzzle of one shrine through sheer dumb luck before I had taken in the whole mechanism. Just one left now.
No spoilers, but the flat performance of Mipha's voice actor in the main game is much improved in the DLC. Did they use duff takes or was the dialogue so bland that she couldn't put any emotion into it?

Yo! Who played a bit of the Far Harbour Fallout 4 DLC earlier, and also power-washed some of the back garden slabs?

Is everyone with a PS4 and/or Xbox busy playing Monster Hunter World? I listened to Andrew Eisen's Molehill Mountain podcast this morning and he described how yesterday morning he laid the table for breakfast and then thought that he could have a quick round of MHW before breakfast. When he stopped playing it was 5:30 pm.
I haven't had a gaming session like that for a very long time because I no longer live alone and there's always someone (or somecat) who needs my attention.

Is everyone with a PS4 and/or Xbox busy playing Monster Hunter World? Not me. I'm cooking Sunday dinner. >>> Paprika and Garlic roasted chicken breasts with honey roasted carrots, roast potatoes, peas and gravy. EDIT: Lotta roasting.

Evening my dudes.
No monster hunter world for me.. this year I'm sticking to playing what I've already got first. So some more HZD.
With 3 guardians left in Zelda to do, stardew valley and bloodborne. I expect it'll be a cheap year for buying games! Particularly if the ps plus membership keeps pumping out solid options.
The one exception is RDR2. Hurry the fuck up rockstar.

Evening.
Also been making dinner. Ragu/Bolognese some of which went into a bake for dinner. The rest will be frozen in the new chest freezer in the garage.
I'm intending to make a spreadsheet of what's in the garage freezer to avoid going out in the rain to see. Mrs C will ignore said spreadsheet and send me out in the rain to look..
Tonight hopefully gaming hour. No monster hunter either. Possibly trying to get by the part I'm stuck at in modern warfare reboot or some more uncharted 3. Maybe even both. That's how I roll. 10 and 15 yr old games.

How are they going to monetise that to get you to buy 'silver dollars' or whatever they decide to use to fleece folk and make it unbalanced? Horses that shoot fire from their ears? Gattling guns?

Dinner: giving yesterday's schnitzel another chance.
This afternoon the local cat knocked a full cup of coffee off the aptly named coffee table. It might have been a feline expression of concern over the environmental impact of coffee pods, but in reality she was, as usual, blinded by the prospect of a smooch. She then got a claw stuck in the sofa cushion and needed rescuing, while the table and the carpet needed extensive cleaning. I now have a coffee-flavoured cat.
Cats - can't live with them and can't live with them.

Ah it was you who went hard into GTA online wasn't it? I never really bothered going that far. I played abit of RDR online but it didn't really grab me. I'm in it for the single plauer.

I'm watching American Sniper. It's about an American sniper.
Can someone just walk into a recruitment office and join the Navy SEALs? Seems a bit suspect.

It also seems to have the fakest baby I've ever seen in a film. You can imagine Clint giving the nod to the cheapest prop the department had.

I applaud your restraint. Yeah GTA was a bit of an obsession. The last big update really screwed it. Folk fucking with you from outer space and flying death machines killing you just to piss you off. Basically so you'll buy shark cards to keep up.
If they let me play online with friends and be able to keep out randoms but still do all the same stuff I'd happily pay a monthly fee - but it's never going to happen.
