Morning all.
I think my bump must be attached to my brain. How the hell did it know I was watching that episode?

Morning, game seems to be only offering £5 for origins on ps4 but £20 for the Xbox version. Off to find out why later. Breakfast is coffee here, have a stovetop one to try out from Christmas later to add to Tue selection of manual coffee makers. Are the pod or other sorts worth buying?

Pods are an ecological nightmare. We just have a standard percolating thing that takes grounds and a filter. Produce coffee that's juuust fine.

I’ve got a nespresso machine, which works pretty well, and you can recycle the pods now. I’ve also got a stovetop moka one which I don’t use as much as I should.

Morning all,
@coffeeblog- seconded amipals comments. They're also much more time-consuming to use than filters etc. If you're making anything more than one cup.
PS plus rumours- looks like February's offerings could be a cracker; farcry 4 and dark souls 2? Yes please.

Coffee blog:
I've got a gaggia classic espresso machine and a grinder, I get my beans online. The coffee is great, but it is a little to me consuming.
Breakfast blog:
Just had poached eggs on toast, and I'm now building myself up to my weekly trip to the butchers to pick up some square sausage and black pudding for round two.
Treat blog:
I will pass the bakers on the way. Treats will be bought.

You couldn't quite believe how bad and unlike actual coffee it was so you had a second? We do have a Bifinett espresso/cappuccino maker which we bought from Lidl many years ago and which makes a decent cuppa coffee. We also have an electric coffee grinder and coffee beans, but I couldn't be arsed using them. EDIT: Bifinett is a re-badged DeLonghi

It's a DeLonghi we've got. Also got a cafetiere, a stove pot we never use and an aeropress in work.

Cafetiere is my preferred choice. Or instant. I've never used an Aeropress; they look fiddly. Do they make better coffee?
I feel bad for telling BigG to fuck off last night. I hope he knows I was joking.

Scubar could have done with all this coffee advice before his interview yesterday Is pulling a trolley behind you to an interview with 6 different coffee makers on it a thing to do? Punch the biggest guy and then then ask the panel do they want blue mountain, a nutty Columbian, or a cheeky Ecuadorian?

About the same style/quality as a cafetiere but less mess. The grounds are compressed and just pop into the food waste.
Though it is the device that the cock in internal audit commented on taking a while to make a coffee. Oh- and check out the aeropress world championship for full on hipster wank.

It's a red bull TV channel.
(And to think I altered the phrase "wee trolley" to "a trolley" as I knew someone would comment.)

I'm guilty as charged on the use of pods - a Tassimo. The pods get recycled, but it's cumbersome. The reason is that we have an elderly person in the house, and this is the only way she can make a variety of coffees for herself without causing a minor disaster. I myself don't want more than a cup at a time, so we are probably stuck with the system for now. What's nice is that you can make all sorts of hot drinks, like hot chocolate for children.

Breakfast is coffee here, have a stovetop one to try out from Christmas later to add to Tue selection of manual coffee makers. Are the pod or other sorts worth buying? Over many years I have tried many different ways to make espresso. Of these the two best were: a) a very expensive, now sadly lost, table top machine b) This: www.wacaco.com/pages/nanopressoIt's a pain in the arse to make more than one cup at a time, it's fiddly until you get used to it, it's quite pricey for what you get, but it makes great espresso - I never use anything else now. Also you can take it out with you. I used to take it with me when I lived in Thailand and had to do 24 visa runs. All you need is hot water.

That's an impressive looking piece of kit. I used to take it with me when I lived in Thailand and had to do 24 visa runs. All you need is hot water. And coffee, presumably.
