So, today, I took delivery of 4 garden chairs and 10L of beer. Not a bad result.
I'm still awaiting the hair clippers I ordered from eBay a while ago, supposedly dispatched from Dublin and delivered by Royal Mail 2nd Class, but since I have subsequently received an email from eBay telling me they had withdrawn the listing and banned the seller I'm not holding out much hope.
I suspect the seller is based in China and was passing off his merchandise as UK based to charge higher prices and has been rumbled. So tomorrow I shall open a case with eBay since I can no longer contact the seller to ask where's my stuff.
The best outcome will be eBay/PayPal refunding my money and, in the next few weeks, a package from China being delivered.
In the meantime my hair is getting ridiculously long.

So, Friday evening question: What have you had delivered today?
EDIT: And Tuffers, please don't list your entire Tesco delivery. Booze and snacks will be enough.

So, Friday evening question: What have you had delivered today? EDIT: And Tuffers, please don't list your entire Tesco delivery. Booze and snacks will be enough. I ordered the new Star Wars on the 21st, waited in all day on the 23rd which included an 11:15-3:15 pm change, which then became a 9 pm delivery, only to have that cancelled for a late delivery either on the 24th or the 25th, otherwise I can put in for a refund after that! It's almost like they don't want to sell anything other than masks and surgical gloves - though not to the regular public! still waiting... still waiting... yawn - is it Saturday yet?! Ps - I guess Booze is more important, at least people are going to be happier when they panic buy!

Toasted cheese sarnie for lunch was yesterday, to use up the rest of the remaining bread before new supplies arrived. Today's lunch was teriyaki salmon on tempura rice. Tasty, but I only get these treats now once a week as they don't keep. Stupid virus. Stupid expiry dates.
Yesterday's delivery also contained what would have been a sufficiency of beer for the week, but somehow one of the bottle caps of one of the Spaten Pilsner had been faulty although no damage was visible. Shoddy Bavarian bottle that leaked half of the content into the bag and over a bag of rice. Refund requested but now short of one bottle of our favourite lunchtime beer.

Liners (quasi-dressings for my supposed 'good' leg) Farscape - The Peacekeeper Wars Gordon Lightfoot - Gord's Gold - variable quality 4* 3M Micropore Surgical Tape, Pack of 6 Christine And The Queens - Chris And as I was getting crucified by 2 sets of medicos and timed my orders to arrive yesterday or tomorrow, of course Royal Mail decided today was a good day, as did my chemist and Amazon, to drag me to the door in time to see a van drive off... And the one thing I expected to be poked through my letter box by Royal Mail, ordered through Amazon, is showing as not being out for delivery ...
"Where the fuck is it?"

I had 10 litres of beer delivered on Wednesday. Today I came to at about 9am in a panic that there wasn't enough left, so I ordered 20 litres. It arrived this afternoon. Sweet.
My noise cancelling headphones also arrived. Seem ok, not as effective as I'd hoped, but I've not really tried them out properly yet.

What a world when 20(ish) pints won’t be enough, so you make it 60

10 litres is 16 pints, not 20, and by this morning it was considerably reduced.

To be fair to Shenguin 10L is only 17 and a half pints (17.6)

I'm going to plan ahead and order some of this Summer Lightning stuff you are all going on about. It had better be good.
Actually, I don't care, I'll drink it asap either way.

I'm going to plan ahead and order some of this Summer Lightning stuff you are all going on about. It is good. You won't regret it. Depending on cost of course. My 10L box (17 and a half pints) of IPA (5% abv) cost £35 from my local micro-brewery. £2 a pint (delivered) for Croydon is a pretty good price. Cheaper than my local 'spoons.

Wow, a Polypin of Summer Lightning (18 pints) direct from Hop Back is £54 and requires 5 days to produce your order...and with brewers pouring beer away in these troubled times?
I suggest you try a local microbrewery instead.

Evening chumps and chumpette,
Cough blog - it's just about gone now, thank God. The antibiotics seemed to get rid of the phlegm part, then there was another week or so suffering the dry cough before it died down.
Beer blog - I'm easing myself back into drinking by having one can from my backlog a night at first. I've continued sharing while I've been ill and built up a nice collection of IPAs and stouts from LHG, Northern Monk, Verdant and Cloudwater.
There's some Wylam/Mikkeller collab stout and more Cloudwater in the post too. Lovely stuff.
Note to Crank - Brewdog deliver but it's a lot more expensive than the supermarket frim what I read on their Instagram adverts.
TV blog - I started Community while sick but it's not grabbing me. It's been relegated to background noise while I play Animal Crossing.
Currently, I'm watching Attack on Titan until my eyes bleed.
Games - Tenthen is bombarding me with flower seeds in the post and I don't know what to send in return. Hate mail?
2.5 million in beeps still not cashed in... Hoping for a miracle tomorrow. If it happens, maybe I'll post my price in twitter and get Elijah Wood to my island. I'm assuming you caught that story Tent?

Is this the place to mention that I got a solo Fortnite win a few minutes ago? Actual me, not the 12y-o who isn't mine.
