I don't think I've threatened to knock anyone's teeth in in random public encounters this year. My neighbour's sister, yes, but she's a cunt, who at the time threatened me, so got both barrels. The neighbour isn't any better, yesterday he had two cars full of visitors at his place, a veritable house full. Twat. Noticeably more traffic on the roads now, and looking at the traffic data graph from London there's a confirmed upward trend, so my anecdotal take on Birmingham traffic should be confirmed by the actual numbers too. Conversely, a nice long walk in Lichfield yesterday afternoon for a change of scenery was quite refreshingly quiet compared to the country park which is my back garden. Speaking of empty back gardens, managed to locate my first fiancee's parent's house near Lairg on google maps. No idea if they still own it, doesn't look like it's a holiday let either. Pity really as it'd be a good place to go with a few mates after all this ends. God I miss that lifestyle. Ganes: More FFVII remake, still trying to escape Shinra building. Doggo is helping but non-playable as described pre-release. OTTM: Don't forget next week the bank holiday is Friday, not Monday. I did. Shambles.

My friends generally recognise me still. In fact when I was caught on camera at a local derby (we had just gone 2-1down at VP with greaser scoring. Sky were kind enough to discuss how disappointed the Blues fans looked while focussing on me) I received hundreds of kind messages immediately. And some photos. I didn't know exactly what had happened until I got home. The footage was worse than I had feared. This also happened to me once. A closeup of my downcast pysiognomy featured on the tv match coverage as a symbol of national humiliation during a routine defeat for Scotland against some Eastern European minnows or other. I was pretty chuffed when I saw the footage.

Idiot*. It's a variation on: Ave Imperator, morituri te salutant... scamander will tell you that, in spite of fictional repetitions it's only recorded once by Suetonius. "Mentula Magna" is a doubled play on Johnson = 1. US slang for a prick, 2. 'magna' is monumental and 'mentula' is the peccant part = what he is. In addition that coat of arms is a bend sinister signifying a right bastard. *No offence meant...

Football Manager and its predecessor Football Crazy formed my first gaming addictions.I'd be tempted with the early Championship Manager if I can get a download of it and emulator. It might be on GamesNostalgia - I'm can't check at present, as the site doesn't seem to want to open on my phone.

I was pretty chuffed when I saw the footage. Well obviously I was pleased as well. I probably wouldn't have chosen to be a public symbol of furiously angry Blues given the option. I do look particularly annoyed on the footage. Also very grey. There is a pic on Discord now. The full footage is actually on the internet, but is buried sufficiently obscurely that I do not have to publicly admit where it is.

I spent £800 less than I earned last month. At least the lockdown is making my bank balance healthy.

at what point do I let on that I don't know Latin? I did GCSE Latin. I can just about read medieval or later gravestones in Church Latin. Mostly because the phrases tend to be the same. Also there are often handy translations. Any ancient inscriptions are a nightmare. Apart from anything else the lack of spacing between words makes it very difficult to even tell which word is which. Also it turns out most Romans wrote an atrocious version of Latin which is nothing like GCSE Latin.

Any savings I am making by not spending ridiculous sums on football tickets and by not driving I am transferring direct to Jeff. It is only fair. Also to a select group of brewers.
By select I mean anyone who will sell me beer, or even merely promise to.

£800? what's that in 2TB M2 ssd's? I don't think M2s make much difference gaming-wise. However, I am starting to put a new PC together from scratch and I am looking at cases now with a view to have it all out together by the end of the year.

The highlight was showing my teacher the clip from Life of Brian, she loved it. I always wanted to learn Latin, Ancient Greek, and Akkadian (or even aramaic).

I spent £800 less than I earned last month. At least the lockdown is making my bank balance healthy. That's quite impressive, although I'd have to question what on earth you're spending £800 pcm on by going to the office every day versus not going - surely not just petrol and lunch? My main saving is petrol and I am nowhere near £800 pcm up. Anything saved this end is going to pay off the dog vet bill which I still owe over two grand on

Morning all!
Video Jims! Disco Elysium on the Geforce Now. It transcends banana. The highest echelon of banana. Top excellence banana. Also some Animal Crossing, and Pokemones, where I got trounced by the water gym leader. Bad business.
TV - Westworld, which continues to have absolutely nothing to do with cowboys anymore. Its still rather good, but going downhill.
Spending - I'm saving hundreds on train tickets, flat whites and rod hull, which is a real boon. Plus I start my new job in absentia next month. Five figure salary, one of the big movers and shakers, at the Big Movers and Shakers plus size clothing Swaffham branch.

My own 5 seconds of drunken scowling fame is nowhere to be found. I can't even find highlights of the game. You'd think the goals from Lithuania vs Scotland matches would be all over YouTube given the glamour of the fixture.

The Graun has some interesting photos from the lockdown in Spain and the relaxation of kids being able to exercise. My mate's wife is Spanish and she shared a video of the local park her sister sent her.
It's whatever the Spanish word for carnage is.
