Demoblog - not demos of games; demos of cool real-time effects and pumping music on limited hardware, something the Amiga was and still is famous for. Thug LifeRootsThe second one i liked. The first one i could have done without.
I always liked those. Not that I ever was involved in downloading warez you understand. The music tracker software was good fun. I hadn't watched any in 20 years, so grabbed the first trio recommended. I didn't link to the third, as it was average at best. I'm just impressed by what they are able to achieve on such austere hardware. I think the limits on memory, storage, and processors really leads to amazing creativity from the coders. I mean, the Amiga chipset is for scrolling bitmaps. It has no hardware for 3D, let alone texture mapping and gourard shading!

Morning all.
Games - More Dsico ELeymseim. Banana wise, top shelf. I realised I had lost my gun, threw up inspecting a corpse and rummaged through the bins. As I mentioned, I also played some Disco Elysium.
TV - Killing Eve. Three killings.

Why are you people living in the 1990s?
Have you not heard of 20 minute free previews, babestation or the internet?

I accidentally turned safe search on on Steam. Oops I have now reverted to my default please only let me see 18 and18R games.
Apparently some of the Total War games are 18 rated. I didn't know that until this morning.

What a pain in the arse. Have you tried Eno's? "If you feel the bottom's fallen out of your world, take Eno's and feel the world fall out of your bottom"?*

Beer and curry
Slightly cloudy beer if possible. If it has a very slight yeasty taste that is ideal. Also cabbage or similar
8 pints and a curry containing cauliflower and you'll be shitting for England.
If that doesn't work. a bottle of red, 8 pints of Guinness and some sauerkraut will sort you. Either you'll be free or dead.

I've never died after too much red wine and Guinness, not on a technical level.

Cheers all for the GeForce now advice / information. I do recall seeing a video on YT about games being pulled from it, and I don't really want to go on a streaming service for games, so will just have to tough it out until either the PS4 version gets a release date or my new laptop materialises. Am contemplating fitting an SSD to it to see if that helps as the cpu and RAM are fine but disk sitting at 100% pretty much constantly trying to run anything, even Icewind Dale 1 which used to run fine. Suspect it's my AV and as the SSD is only £60 from Jeff or elsewhere worth a shot before I hand it over to my sister for good. Ganes: FFVII remake. About to exit Casa Shinra, but as the game asked me if I was sure I wanted to, I paused and figure I ought to go back and check just in case I missed some sweeeeeet loot. I know Bahamut is in the game somewhere but not sure if he only turns up in NG+ or is hiding somewhere in Bojo's lab. Wish part two was out this year...oh well, the backlog will do I guess. OTTM: One day sober. Sobriety sucks.

It's finished NIN - Fixed now. God I love industrial Trent*. The more recent stuff is ok, but not a patch on the early stuff. I prefer Broken to Fixed * The man, not the river. Though the river as well

I've been avoiding the news to listen to NIN. The overall effect - increased anxiety and paranoia and a feeling of living in a broken dystopia is surprisingly similar.
