I just bought a 3ds XL. Not the new one. Already have buyer's remorse. May be able to trade in for more than I paid at cex. 4 *'s. We'll see when it arrives.
Games? Not Jrpg. Mario kart, a platform Mario one. What else?

Morning boxers
Somehow spent yesterday looking for, and then looking after a mate whose drinking is now out of control. It probably has been out of control for some time but he's good at hiding it til recently. the kind of day that makes me realise why I love games.
Games! Fallout 4 has me hooked again..... got all my settlements linked up now and planning some serious building. it's nearly payday so will treat myself to Far Harbour and get back on the quests,
Coffee... why not.

As much as we joke about booze on here and the other place your actual alcoholism isn't the best.
Games. Wee bit of Uncharted 3. Reading up about ds games.
TV. Would I lie to you. The guests are either brilliantly funny or absolute bobbins. No half measures.
We're getting peer reviewed at work today. "They're not out to catch you out"
Sure. Sure they're not.

Morning.
In Fallout how do you heal companions? Dogmeat was injured in battle and started limping and after 5 minutes of googling I was none the wiser so I just painlessly put him out of his misery with the minigun.
And Star Trek was "meh" (although "black alert" seemed a bit racist).

Don't you use those injection things you have?

Yeah the stimpaks, but I could not find a way to use them on Dogmeat.

'Fast travel to sanctuary' worked for the person in the first Google link I searched. Do you treat all your friends like that at the first sign of trouble?
"He ain't heavy, he's my broooother.."
*zap* He's dead Jim.
Tbf. Other folk saying the same as you.

I didn't realise fast travel worked, not that I have much areas to fast travel to right now. And yes, if someone slows me down in Fallout, it's the mini gun.

Morning all.
Fallout 4 companions - they will self-heal eventually, but only once combat has finished. They cannot be killed by baddies, only by you, you murderer. Human companions can have stimpaks stored in their inventory - in which case they'll self-use if need be to stay in the fight.
As for settlements, good luck getting one up to the required happiness level for the trophy. It takes a while...
Anywho... I thought yesterday's episode of Disco was bloody brilliant.

As much as we joke about booze on here and the other place your actual alcoholism isn't the best. Hoo boy, I know that song. I had a rum and coke on Saturday night. I thought about having a second but then didn't. I'm basically teetering on the brink.

Morning all,
Fallout - the settlements idea is neat-o until you find yourself spending time increasingly repelling attacks. No idea how to get the 100% happy trophy either, even with full employment, beds and shops I would get 80-85% max. Then sometimes I'd see a settlement at 40% happiness, go there and everyone had somehow reassigned themselves to unemployment.
There were some good times though, having a killing zone makred out in Sunset drive and watching a band of mutants get cut down withing metres was, well, simply arousing.

Morning nerds,
Not alot to report last night, went to the gym and then played stardew valley and watched friends.
I'm obsessed now. Things are going pretty smoothly, working my way down the mine, won the Easter egg hunt and am romancing the blonde one in town. I just keep giving her daffodils like a simpleton.
Think I'm pretty much set for summer, but it's hard to know, hopefully I'll have enough cash. I've invested hard in strawberries.

About 3/4 through the latest series of Gomorra. Heading towards an explosive ending. Top stuff. Mon eh young team.
One of the many reasons I'm glad I'm not involved in organised crime in Naples are the conversations where nothing is said but everything is understood. I'd be all "so Don Giovanni, if you could just clarify point a for me.."

I have a bipolar friend like this, but with drugs thrown in as well. The end to the 4 day binges came when he got a fearsome girlfriend who would keep him in line magnificently.

Your posts about settlement building was one of the reasons I bought the game. I found it a buggy mess, fun at points but it does grind you down.

Morn, Watched the first couple of episodes of Dark last night. Not bad, not bad.
No games. I want Monster Hunter but am determined to work through my backlog first.
Still waiting for redundancy news, but another team are currently walking round the office, working out who is having which desk. The corpse ain't even cold yet....

Morning!
Pub and bit more Monster Hunter last night. Gathering materials for equipment. After hunting three Anjanaths, capturing each one, I subsequently discovered that the parts I needed had to be carved from its cold, dead corpse. So, tonight will be more of the same. Building up quite the collection of weapons though, focusing on the big chopper, the skinny slicer and, my favourite, the insect glaive. Oh, also managed to get my Palico looking like a HZD Watcher before the quest disappears. Apparently the next collaboration reward turns you into Aloy, should be fun.
Bloggie! Blueberrys and Cranberrys for Summer/ Fall respectively. As many as you can water (aside from the needed bundle items) and you'll have more cash than you know what to do with!
