That’s up there with “my girlfriend hacked my account” Is this a reference to a chatterbox classic that no-one would elaborate on?

That’s up there with “my girlfriend hacked my account” Is this a reference to a chatterbox classic that no-one would elaborate on? A Chatterboxer said something goofy then, when derided, defended his goof with vigour. After days of continued derision and hooting, the Chatterboxer claims neither the comment or subsequent defence were his work but that of his girlfriend who had 'hacked his account' to make him appear foolish in the eyes of his peers.

Which sums up about half the posts on the 'box, except for the stupid defence.

Ah, I thought it was from the one where the guy's girlfriend created an account that a few folk were referencing a couple of weeks back. The saddest part of this 'hacker' one is the guy probably didn't have a girlfriend. I've seen it before, one of my mates made a fake girl profile on bebo back in the day. We kept hinting we knew, but he wouldn't stop. It was awkward.

Hello
Today I have mostly been playing Psycho Pass - Mandatory Happiness on PS4.
I say 'playing' but my involvement so far has involved repeated presses of the 'X' button to move the dialogue along. That's it.
My kind of 'game'

If my name were Dave I'd be a bit worried about that defence.

Particularly if I'd driven carelessly round Finsbury Park.

Is this the first time "sod's law" has been cited in court? You can only cite it if your defense attorney is a qualified sod's lawyer. As far as the "Dave defence" is concerned, I believe the technical legal term is "dick move".

If my name were Dave I'd be a bit worried about that defence. Careening dangerously out of control into the public without thought for the consequences then running away to let someone else take the blame? Has anyone checked what Cameron was up to that day?

We should take all Dave’s out into the middle of a field
line them all up against a wall.
Single bullet to the head.
Bang bang.

How are you getting the second bang?

How many fields have walls in the middle?
Walls round the edge yes. In the middle not so much. You'd think a building surveyor would know this sort of stuff.

How are you getting the second bang? First from the bullet, the second as Dave's lifeless corpse smacks against the floor.

First from the bullet, the second as Dave's lifeless corpse smacks against the floor. That'd be more of a 'thud' Unless it was in a minefield.

That'd be more of a 'thud' Unless it was in a minefield. Makes sense to mine the field. Wouldnt want someone nicking the single section of wall.

It's only one. I'm also fairly sure they watched me closely when that article was written.
