The guy I share an office with has bought 10 washing machines from some auction down south, without seeing them, and has sold most of them already.
I've been roped in to help deliver them on Saturday (which I've agreed to as he gives me a lift home every night) and it's just dawning on me that they're probably going to turn up in unsellable condition and the whole thing will take much longer than expected, eating into my valuable drinking time.
Maybe I can rope someone from Japanese class into bdt to compensate ...

Today's not turned out the way it should have.
Early this afternoon we discovered that our car wouldn't move. Would make a grinding noise but wouldn't move. For a car that's kind of basic. So we called the nice man from the RAC who suspected a broken drive shaft. Since we hadn't been doing much off-roading recently this came as a bit of a surprise. Nice RAC man took the keys and got ready to tow the car away.
And then discovered why the drive shaft was broken. Apparently the loud thud we heard about 3 a.m. was the sound of some idiot taking out a wheel so that both front wheels are pointing in opposite directions. Only left the slightest scratch in the bodywork, which is why nobody noticed it before. Needs to go on the back of a truck on Saturday morning and until then we are carless because someone's driving was careless.
And now the Chatterbox doesn't fit the new format. We'll see about that. This gives me no incentive to get out of premod, none at all.
Fortunately there's Destry's Chatter Sanctuary. Praise be to Destry.

Just figured out how to take the power armour off in Fallout. It's not a game that believes in giving a player too much guidance.

Power armour top tip - when leaving it, pop round the back and take out the power core. Stops some random NPC hopping in and making off with it

He was scoping them out today, only one block 3 high, but hopefully its not on the top floor.
