We've ended up with loads of fruit. So homemade fruit salad, coffee, toast. Child off to swimming lessons and I'm making soup.
Games. GTA. Some of the "new" missions with randoms - I got a platinum for my mobile rocket launcher shooting - though sadly only in game not a real one. Bit of stunt races for larks. French blokes losing their shit over the mic is always really funny.
Baby. 5am. Yuck. Fortnite is ok. I can't seem to get the building part sorted. As you're (I'm!) trying to work it out some bugger snipes you.

Just about to land on the island and the baby woke up! Xbox turned off and back into dad duty. I hope there is a way to turn off the Mic of other players, although I admired the enthusiasm of the American pre-pubescent who beat boxed throughout.

Morning.
This didn't go quite as expected.
The bloke from the garage turned up with a courtesy car but without a truck because no-one told him that the car he was supposed to pick up had both front wheels pointing in different directions (this was a new one for him as well, and we spent some time admiring the skill it must have taken to hit the wheel with enough force to break the drive shaft but leave no other damage). On a Saturday morning they had two trucks available, but one, driven by someone on their first day at work (Scubar?) had broken down and was now on the back of the other truck. Need to wait now until Monday to get the car to the garage, but at least we've got the courtesy car.
I can think of more fun things to do on a Saturday morning than standing around in the rain for a considerable amount of time.

Turtle beach, razer, steelseries etc are missing a trick that they don't have a headet that mixes in a baby monitor to your ears during play. Your own obviously not some random kid to just put you off.

I managed 13th place in Fortnite and in 3 games have killed a grand total of 1 person. Are some people basically invincible in this game or something? I blasted a player in the chest with a shotgun followed up with a shot to the leg and they just walked away. Picking stuff up seems a real hassle as well.

Aren't baby monitors over wi-fi not very secure? They might be able to do it anyway. Coffee for breakfast, delonghi espresso machine and finding it just not a big enough cup while house and dog sitting. Manic labradoodle to walk in a bit which involves mud, the Thames and making life hard trying to keep a kitchen clean. At least it fits in the sink at the end.

I remember hearing about websites where weirdos hack baby monitors. Also people are literally invincible in Fortnite, they just stand there and do a silly dance whilst I shoot them over and over.

My delonghi has a bigger filter you put espresso in. It's supposed to be if making two at a time. That way you get loads.
They are not secure - but do I care if leet haxors listen to my kid snoozing? talking thru them is another issue I suppose.

Ours wasn't web enabled so you'd have to be in the garden with a ham radio to listen in anyway Now i think about it.

Hello you lot.
Been into Brighton today to get my eyes looked at. They're still in my head at least, though the prescription has changes. And so I've bought a new set of specs. They cost money. Lots of money.
@tvblog Watched the second episode of Enterprise. One of the key plot points was the translator's slug being sick. Firing on all cylinders.

Just dropped the child off at a birthday party. The entertainer hosting it had failed boy band vibe. Hair like the baddy from the incredibles. The kids lapping it up though.
Off to Sainsbury's to buy beer and drop at home.

Morning.
The washing machines my mate had bought and sold without seeing turned up. I doubt it will come as a surprise to anyone reading that 6 of the 12 were unsellable. It felt exactly like an episode of only fools and horses. On top of that, a few others were clearly not "ex-display" and had been fairly well used.
Thus, my morning was spent trying to clean up the washing machines while he let folk down or haggled on prices, with deliveries being done in the afternoon.
Still, I got away earlier than expected and am on the way to Edinburgh for drinks with my mates, one of whom I barely get to see these days.

I'm going deaf so it was advisable for when Mrs Crank wasn't about. And now I'm the worst. No you're not. I played up my hearing loss for guilt effect. Although yes, I am, I've never had my hearing tested and still wear headphones. It's driving Mrs C up the wall. It's a combo of hereditary hearing loss, 20 odd years clubbing and headphones most days for 35 yrs. Will require hearing aid. I read about some crispr thing where mice got their hearing back. Waiting for that.

I think the mice kept their hearing rather than getting it back. If you had that gene mutation you'd most likely be profoundly deaf by your age. There are other increasingly interesting treatments for deafness.

As Mrs Crank was off to Edinburgh this afternoon with friends (pyjakson?) I collected the child from the party and took her for her first ever chippy dinner. Which she enjoyed.
Bed time soon. For the child as well.

Just caught up on the first episode of 'Requiem' on iPlayer (which was interrupted yesterday by a phone call).
Lots of familiar horror tropes but was okay.
EDIT: Watching Episode 2 while my wife watches a seemingly interminable episode of 'Taggart'
