Yes! I won a duos game. I machine gunned someone after playing the helicopter game.
Sadly my co -winnee had to attend the medal ceremony in a coffin Third last to die though. If I had been better at machine gunning (less drunk) he might not have died.

Good afternoon all. The blood test came back and showed a marked improvement in inflammatory cells: it was up at 37 in A&E, when it should be at 5. Today's result was 13. So no surgery. They've discharged me, and I'm to continue with the antibiotics. Now I'm back home, and again in front of Skyrim. Well, that's a disappointment to those who already made space for the Amiga collection they stood to inherit. Very happy to hear that surgery wasn't necessary. Elephant antibiotics and Skyrim are clearly a great therapeutic combo.

The Synology ones have apps you can install. They sync with the cloud etc and so would download all the stuff you've already ripped. They can also backup to AWS glacier for really cheap cloud backup. Sheep can tell you more though as he actually has one. I have a QNAP piece of junk (so bloody complicated to use, it's now just a massive doorstop). I so wish I had gone the Synology route. in the end it sits in the media rack doing fuck all... I do more with my HP Proliant Microserver GEN 8 G8 Intel Celeron G1610T DDR3 Server; since M$ nuked Workgroups so they could sell their vastly overpriced server softcrap, I use it for backups peer-to -peer w10 pro, with 4 x 2TB drives for back ups. I have 2 x 4Tb data drives in my PC The Proliant goes for £200+ or more even now; It's v v small and quiet and just works ... Love that little machine...

Gaymz - more Resi3 last night after the football. Killed a million zombies in the hospital and eventually got the thing that someone needed to help them with a bad thing. Four stars.

How is a NAS better than a pc hardrive? Is the benefit essentially the NAS can be left on 24 hours a day and makes less noise than a desktop or even a laptop?
Also, I don't know what to make of the new Fortnite, my usual landing spot has gone and they have introduced a weird shotgun. The shark riding and the rest of the water travelling will take some learning. I do like that they brought back the hunting rifle.

You absolutely need to be careful how you record stuff. Alphabetically by artist Each album/single in a separate folder. No The at the start of names. Unless it is The The obviously. Select by folder, not by album. Otherwise you can't find anything after a while. And some programs try to merge all Greatest Hits albums together. Basically if you can't find stuff easily you can't listen to it. Isn't there a band called Various Artists so called to screw with people's record collections?

In other news my laptop screen is borked displaying a two inch vertical strip of colourful horizontal lines over the desktop. It displays fine on an external monitor leading me to suspect it's a loose lcd screen connector.

Also it should have proper software to support it so you can do back ups and things and run RAID set ups. It's jst got data on it so it doesn't need updating after the initial set up and does not auto reboot destroying all settings. Basically it's just cool to have a sinister black box with some lights on it.

In other news my laptop screen is borked Invoice your daughter's employers for a new machine. Profit! Nice idea, though my daughter does feel guilty since she uses it 5 days a week and it went wrong on her watch. It's a refurbished Lenovo Thinkpad X240 and YT videos indicate it's straightforward accessing the connectors by simply unclipping the bezel around the screen. I'll take a look when she has finished using it for the week. The interference disappears by adjusting the angle of the screen, but slight movements cause it to re-appear.

Its not really a good morning, I feel like I'm hungover but I didn't drink a thing yesterday and went to bed early. This country. I had loads of beer while playing Fortnite increasingly badly and went to bed very late. And I feel pretty good today. I don't know if there is a lesson to be learned there. I think I've learnt my lesson. B D T

BDT? BDT.
Personally I think lockdown has diminished the impact of BDT. On the one hand, it can start at an earlier hour, but the associated reduced statistical density somewhat offsets this.
I need a drink.
