They should bring back National Service for anyone aged under 45.
Work shy, whiney, 44s-and-under are the pits.

Gyms - More TLOU2 last night. I'm only a hour or two in but shit just got real. It was not a relaxing experience. It put me right on edge. I was a nervous wreck.
Man up shandy pants?

I'd happily vote for National Service for anyone under 45, as long as they bring it in this time next year.

While I appreciate that National Service may be a good way to instil some discipline in the youth, maybe teach them some useful life skills, as well as providing a useful group of organised manpower in event of a civic emergency... we no longer have the infrastructure or systems in place to operate such a thing.
Selling-off of MoD land and buildings, a trained-military both suffering from a lack of staff retention and a recruitment-shortfall, as well as the military in general not wanting to look after a bunch of useless c*nts for two years who generally don't want to be there.

On that subject, does anyone else feel a deep sense of national shame and embarrassment every time they see the Faroe Islands on a map? We should have annexed them centuries ago.
As part of Brexit Britain what better way to re-read establish ourselves as a great military power?

Plus one does not invade a NATO partner's territory. We're not Turkey.

Scotland did their bit to soften the Faeroes up by humiliating them at football a few years ago. A couple of draws really showed them they couldn't have it all their own way.

Remember my protein shake banana... ...smoothie? I stored it in the fridge, but horizontally as the container wouldn't fit in the door. I gave the lid a bit more twist as a fridge cleaning of this bacteria friendly gunk would not be fun... I couldn't get the bloody lid off, at 6 this morning ... so I put the lid under the hot water and tried again with my Large Marigolds; that gunk travels a long way... Imagine a somewhat older version Well, the bathroom mats are in the washing machine, and the floor* is drying after vacuuming and steam cleaning - I'm just praying that Amazon Akhbar (Luton depot) isn't early. Just as I typed that an hour ago, a knock on my stained glass front door - it's proper stained glass, with leaded bits - the delivery instructions strongly say don't do that, to avoid knocking out segments. Akhbar has left it on the ground and is almost back in his van by the time I have hurpled** to the door and screamed "I can't pick them up from there ...". I've just finished putting the kitchen into reasonable order and have done 0 chores. I really do hate Mondays *No Oz, not Floor Jansen **a fine piece of Scottish cant

"I would've hoped they would have known exactly which the right beach was. I was teased mercilessly. I had a postcard from the head of the Army and Air Force which was a postcard of Gibraltar with an arrow pointing 'ours' and another arrow pointing 'theirs'." On the other hand, the Spanish almost-routinely sail warships into Gibraltar's waters, and have to be escorted out.

Amipal - how do you fare on conjuring assistance? Raise Zombie must be useful in draugr tombs? I've used Conjure Familiar on a few occasions to give the enemy something else to bash, but it doesn't last long. I've managed to get Enchanting quite high now, so beginning to fashion items that really buff my Destruction and magicka regeneration. I really do need to start using wards though. I'm just too much of a fan of dual-casting fire...

Hello. I have just finished watching Sakurai's Smash Bros. Arms character presentation. He's got nice sofa cushions that he was using to hide his slinky prop*. Vault Boy in Smash, huh? Is Bethesda trying to tell us something? (" Due to popular demand, Fallout 76 is finally coming to the Switch! It's a nightmaredream come true!") Games: AC:NH, mainly storage management woes. This morning I experienced my first thunderstorm on the island. What's that bacon smell? Don't tell me Curly's house got hit by lightning... Social distancing stream last night was playing SOMA which I liked a lot. Food: a little taste of South African braai with boerewors, potato, beans and a potent chakalaka for dinner. *none of this is a euphemism
