Morning all.
Gamesblog: Skyrim, and I cleared out a sunken fort to grab Azura's Star. I tried to do the next part of the quest, going inside the daedric item to kill off the mad soul within. But got exploderised within seconds.
TVblog: Community, with some celebrity impersonators.
Amigablog: replaced a patch which forced a reboot from cold start with one that doesn't. Everything's comin' up Milhouse!

Games: Getting near the end of Black Flag, still an enjoyable romp, though.

Morning all
Went hunting for a cougar, came up with nothing. Maybe I’m going to the wrong bars. In RDR2, I hasten to add.
Took advantage of the steam sale to get myself nearly up to date with Total Warhammer DLC, the latest one wasn’t on sale, annoyingly. I also picked up Star Wars Fallen Order. This probably won’t play on my laptop, so we’ll see.

Looked into Pathfinder. From what I could see it was a bit chaotic, think I need to find a decent review. Was hoping it would be turn based.

I am getting to grip with the new season of Fortnite it seems.
Won a duos match. Three kills.
There were 5 of us left, 3 opponents. I had 0 kills at that stage. Someone rudely took a shot at me so I shot him n the head with a burst assault rifle. He messed up. He was in a better position, but ended up trying to avoid eating my bullets too much.
The last two were not that good. Shenguin stood there as a shield while I shot one of them. The other one got Shenguin down, but I was able to smash him down good.
Shenguin recovered enough to actually attend the medal ceremony in person, which is unusual.
I also had some 6 kill games playing solo. Close to a couple of wins.

I was quite impressed you beat me. I thought the multiple post trick on quiet days was going to leave me miles ahead.
OTTM
I have managed to set up BluesTV on a laptop for my parents and show them how to get it to display on a TV set.
To the point at which they are apparently able to do this themselves.
I am pretty impressed with this as their ability and willingness to deal with technical issues like getting the HDMI1 output on the TV to display has been limited in the past.

Morning fuckoes. scamander, re. Pathfinder, there's a very good mod that makes it turn based. Installing mods is a little more complex than usual in today's gaming world but worth it in this case. The real time combat was a pain to work with, too many missed 'turns' and far too much pausing involved. I'd installed the turn based mod so early in my playing that my memory made me think it was baked in. Other ganes! Well, P4G. Up to the proper killers dungeon now. Nanako scene very nearly got me again. Even though I knew what was going to happen. Fuckers. Such a good game. |

I've wanted to play this for years. I picked this up on steam as I was fairly confident my old PC could run a PS2 era game and, luckily, it turns out it can. Finding and justifying the time to play it will be the tricky part, now that I'm off furlough. Maybe I'll squeeze it in on days when I'm working from home. |
