I... erm... thanks, I think? Morning all. After two days of pizzas (courtesy of the boy's birthday celebrations being split over two days to get all the family over in tranches), I am craving something low in both carbs and cheese for dinner this evening. Gamesblog: nah TVblog: Adventure Time. Community. YouTubeBlog: Fully Charged have a six-part series starring Maddie (from CBBC's "How Does It Work?"), about getting an EV for the first time. Did you know that you can charge them from a three-pin plug into a regular socket? Neither did I. Not something to do all the time, as it takes ~27 hours from empty-to-full (on a Kia Niro, for example), but good to know that you can do that before getting a power wall installed. Oh, and Zap-map.com shows a real paucity of chargers down here in and around Brighton. Greens my arse. |

I watched Community on Sunday, should be called Cameo-Community. It's no Schitts Creek (that'll be a fiver Crankcaller).
If you didn't know you could charge an EV by plugging it into the mains with a regular plug, then you really should sack that idea off and buy a previously-owned Maserati in Mafia black. Another plus is that you can wear sunglasses all year round and stick that fake 'tache on.

Good morning on what I’m told is Tuesday.
This morning one of the dogs cost me £57, all to be told he has a slightly dodgy knee.
Games - My Time In Portia. Cleared out a cave of giant rats with eyepatches and bandanas, started building a car. It’s a weird game, but I’m enjoying it.
TV - what would presumably be Scam’s favourite episode of Forged In Fire, the Roman Gladius. I love this show, it’s great to watch people who think they’re all that get beaten by amateurs, usually after getting cocky and making stupid mistakes.

Ah, the eternal hunt for parts... Desk fans, hotplates, and typewriters are your friend. Edit: oh, and get the scrapper perk. Then you can just break-down picked-up weapons into thousands of useful components. |

Your garden has a colour scheme? Mine is green with mostly purple flowers that attract bees and some cat shit. Ordering a sonic thing to hopefully stop that.

Off today / tomorrow with the child. In the office on Thursday. Have registered with a doctor. Shenguin didn't *seem* to be on the practice list but I might have missed it.

The colour scheme is purple, but these aren't classic rose colours and Mrs Fark therefore opted for pink when choosing her rose before me, thus forcing me ultimately to also have a pink rose.
No one said gardening was fair, and despite making the point that the dozens of hours of digging I did and thousands of pounds of my own money spent on the garden may, just may, entitle me to pick one fucking flower of my choosing, this ultimately failed to result in anything other than a pink rose.

I have a bicycle. And am still alive. Glad to see Tids was the only person who'd noticed I'd disappeared for a while  I do hate my bicycle right now, it decided to throw me off up Cannock Chase two and a half weeks ago so am nursing a dislocated shoulder and currently signed off. Bloody painful, do not recommend. Ganes: I was enjoying Tomb Raider free from psplus, and Ni No Kuni. Can't play much with the shoulder though as the sling is preventing normal arm usage. Sleeping is tough. OTTM: Not much, same **** different day. Hope you've all been well. |
