Needless to say, I had the last laugh.
Video games - animal crossing. Missed the Sunday fireworks as we were busy packing. Bad bananas.

Well it turns out this MTV in Lebanon reporting on the explosion is apparently not the MTV, but is a proper news channel. I am a bit disappointed* that they are not cutting between news reports and Billie Eilish** videos. * very disappointed ** Yeah I am hip with the kids. Though maybe Billie Eilish is last year. The M in MTV is equivalent to the D in DPRK and has been since about 2002. Also in mind that LadBible have been asking questions at the Downing Street briefings this year, so there’s nothing to say it isn’t that MTV... |

OTTM I got my new electric bicycle delivered that I told you all about pre-ordering last october. It's everything I had hoped for, am delighted. I even managed to attach all the wheels and stuff by myself.

Morning!
This morning I took my new pink flamingo face mask for a spin for the first time in months. Took a taxi (driver wearing a mask) to my surgery where I had an appointment with a nurse to give bloods, have a general checkup and pick up medication from the attached pharmacy. They are still in complete lockdown mode: the door was locked and the lights were off and one had to ring a buzzer to be let in after talking through the intercom. Empty and silent waiting room, 2 metre distancing markers and hand sanitiser dispensers everywhere and the doctors walking around in hazmat suits.
The taxi driver on the way back had opted out of mask wearing and for the DIY plastic sheet-and-tape approach to separate his space from the passengers'. Got out at the post office which was completely empty apart from the postmaster who clearly wasn't bothered by this whole pandemic thingy and had chosen comfort over style by not wearing a mask, either. He also didn't believe in social distancing which I didn't appreciate. I made a note to avoid him in future and walked home. No one coughed or sneezed in my direction, so that's good, I guess.
Then some alarms and excursions at home, fortunately nothing major.
Hot dogs and beer for lunch.
