Rain at lunchtime, seemingly out of nowhere. Slowly heating up now.

ACNH update: over the last days I got myself into a bit of a pickle when out of a whim I told Tammy to pack her bags. Not a wise move, as she was my only uchi villager and a decent one at that, considering that uchis are the rarest type in the game. I had her picture and I just felt that her house was too similar to others. Anyway, the damage was done. I had Graham visiting my campsite the same day and although he's delightfully nerdy I felt that I should find a replacement of the same type by means of island hopping.

However, that takes time and I risked getting a random neighbour for one day, but yesterday I realised that I had to act if I wanted to have a say in the matter (I can't really complain because random is how I got Zucker, who is a delight and I will never let him go. Still, I didn't want to risk it this time). Yesterday things were looking good as I had a visit from Flick, great opportunity to sell bugs from the mystery tours for a tidy profit. But it was again past my bedtime when I finally got round to taking a flight with the dodo. I was extremely tired and decided that I would take the first halfway decent villager that came my way.

First island had Sheldon. Meh. I really wanted to go to bed, but I wasn't that desperate.

So, off to the next destination. I said 'yes' as soon as I saw it was a wolf. Turned out to be Whitney, a snooty. Will go well with my two other snooties, hah. (Only kidding, Julia is living on borrowed time.)

Now hopefully will find the time to do something with the space where the museum once stood. Everything's still under construction atm, so I won't put my dream address out just yet. Visit from Redd today, but only one genuine piece which I secured.

Also watched yesterday's State of Play, all very nice and colourful, nothing that stood out or would convince me to buy a PS5 (I know they said PS5 games weren't the focus). Looks like Bugsnax is the new Knack 3 and Godfall is giving off Anthem vibes ("Godawfall", as someone in the comments quipped). The people whose recorded livestream I was watching didn't know Braid and couldn't identify Alan Wake. Zero stars.

Ocado out of some beer staple, got to slum it with the Kronenbourg they substituted. Some stars.

Other: Not the best of days to have two bloody painful procedures - morphine don't cut it...  I won't be in much. 38c in my darkened room, with screaming bastard kids completely oblivious to social distancing. But even they have only occasionally pierced the cascade of alpha rhythms rushing around the inside of my cranial cavity.

At least the Peninsula Parkers have fucked off on holiday - I'm hoping it's for at least a fortnight.

Games: Another NP2 victory which I will report on once I've figured out how to take my overheating brain and soak it in a bucket of cold water, along with my eyeballs so I can see again.  Bah

My day has been spectacularly productive. I woke up at 4:30am and couldn't get back to sleep so I decided to get up and go for a run before it got too hot. The joke was on me though, as it was stupid o'clock in the morning and was already too hot. I then fell asleep on the sofa while waiting for Fall Guys to download, and slept through a conference call.

More like a non-Dom, then? I think he's busy playing Paper Mario.

Thanks for the offer, but too late now. Maybe he's a wolf in Sheep2's clothing* anyway, so I might as well take the wolf.

*He might as well be comfortable when working from home, but maybe he shouldn't be leaving his trousers lying about to get poached by @smellavision.
