I’m watching the Wire. Motherfuckers. It was being discussed here a few weeks back, and I realised I hadn’t seen it in 10 years. I remember season 2 as my favourite, but I thought I’d check.
It’s very good. It’s aged a bit, as the tech has changed so much - the druggies are using pagers and payphones instead of snapchat and encrypted emails - and I’d forgotten that tv used to be square rather than widescreen. The dislogue is still great, though, and the exposition for the audience is (mostly) handled so elegantly.
Four stars. (Five really).

The yellow caps they sell in Baltimore are known as "Scramble" and are regarded as low quality by connoisseurs. More heroin facts tomorrow kids.

Morning all, I hope Friday finds you in good health?
Camera club last night, and the "liquid" competition. The judge was rather vicious, savaging the development group with a very specific interpretation of what he expected from a "liquid" photograph.
My mate and I went into the interval feeling very nervous. The advanced group kicked off with a notable difference in scoring, yet still discounting images that siding follow his ideas. My mate's simply excellent ink-dropped-over-a-white-skull received a middling score (17/20).
But, my iris got 19 and my water in a glass got 20 and best in group. So obviously he's a brilliant judge and I have no idea what everyone else is on about.

Good Friday, It's been almost 2 weeks since I last played any games. I think I might be cured. Or broken. Either way I'm planning on starting Shadow of the Colossus at the weekend.
Watched the last couple of episodes of Dark last night. Definitely worth watching.

Hello folks. Fri again.
No games as at a friend's last night. He says he's buying GTA today. As he has much more time on his hands he'll be a higher level than me in no time. Will help with the restocking etc.
Today is a school holiday. I'm watching the child and I'm a little tired. Playing the "Moana game" i.e. recreating Moana can do one. Nor helped by Mrs Crank buying her a Moana outfit in a sale.
With regards to the Wire - I've only watched the first two series. Nae spoilers please as I'm going to start 3 soon.

Morning!
MHW! Got the weekly bounties done with just 20 mins to spare. Those 7 star quests don't mess about. Had a good run on the Legiana (sp?) + Odagaron (again, sp?) quest. A lot easier than I thought it would be. Had the bird dead within the first 5-8 mins then had a 'helper' drop in for the doggy. I say 'helper' because the actual level of help given was minimal. Boom hammer still MVP, especially from a slide.
TV wise we watched the final Hunted. Unsure as to whether anyone else in here watches it so I won't spoil the result. Previous concerns still persist though, a couple of the techniques used to find the contestants are a bit convenient/ far fetched. If the police really have all these tools at their disposal (and more!) I don't believe so many people would be successfully evading capture.

What did everyone have for breakfast? That's right we're doing breakfast chat.
I had a Nakd chocolate breakfast bar and a couple of swigs of cranberry juice direct from the carton.
Also, what means of hassle free communicating do people use for multi players with friends when you team up? My brother wants to use discord, looking into it appears I can use an app for this on my tablet and talk to him that way without having to buy a microphone. Is this right? Are there better ways of doing this?

Streaky bacon sarnie, Bhut Joklia sauce, coffee. The sauce was a grave error at 9.30, but I’d run out of normal heat stuff.

Traditional two fingers or the chunky variety? If the latter did you opt for the peanut one?

The peanut chunky is good. Breakfast was toasted bread aka "toast" with jam on it, Coffee, apple juice.
Are you playing on pc baby? Can't you use discord on the pc and it mixes the volume in with the game through headphones? Or am I talking rubbish.

I am sure you can, but I would then need to buy headphones/mic set (which I should probably do).

Breakfast: Quaker Oats sweet cinnamon porridge, coffee. No bhut jolokia sauce, sauerkraut, pressed gherkins or whatever Cobblers needs to revive his jaded palate, or indeed to feel anything.
Congrats to amipal, we knew you could do it. That's why Shenguin became your harshest critic.
No games here either! But the weekend is almost here.

You know those things that come with the phone.. they have a wire you put one end in your ears and the other in your phone and they make noisy sound when you plug it in your phone and if someone rings you can make words in the mouthpiece and the other person hears? You can plug those in your fucking computer.

Ahem.
Morning all! Curry last night and celebration of the other half passing her driving test.
Gaming: mario kart and stardew valley, well into winter now and feel like I'm running out of things to do.
No breakfast this morning up early and having a weekend spa break, clearly it's working and I'm very, very relaxed.

I just saw this www.bbc.co.uk/news/newsbeat-42990531Is there an official record for this (voluntarily, not due to illness)? Is he anywhere near breaking it? I don't want to google it.

Morning all!
No posts yesterday as I had my driving test (which I passed) and then college and doing maths.
No games, but I'll probably buy Shadow of the Colossus tonight as a wee treat.
