Witnessed mass devastation this morning, haven't seen anything like it before and it will stay with me for years.
The complete destruction of both a hot and cold breakfast buffets by a coach load of welsh tourists, there was just nothing left standing. They didn't even seem to like each other, taking all the tables for four or more in their pairs.

Nier is fairly cheap today. I don't have time to play Nier. I have other games I have yet to play before Nier. There are games on the horizon that might mean I won't finish Nier.

This is a bit embarrassing. Last night I gave my sister-in-law the link to L.A. Noire for the Switch on Amazon - £26.99. A bit dearer than the Xbox and PS 4 versions (£22), but not too bad. Only now I'm realising that the Switch version alone at that price is exclusive to Amazon Prime customers, and if you aren't your only other choice for the Switch version from Amazon is from a different seller who charges a cool £39.99. Argos (and no doubt a lot of other outlets) are selling that game for £27.
What the hell, Amazon?

What are everyone's plans for the weekend? I am getting a curry delivered and playing Golden Axe with Mrs Fark tonight, followed by watching the rugby tomorrow and going to my neighbour's 50th birthday party on Sunday. Hopefully some Fortnite as well. I know, pure hedonism.

Just been down the park with the child, her friend from two doors up and friends sister and dad. Dad chat wasn't too stilted. Go me. Managed not to mention games.
Hopefully didn't seem too eager to discuss dog poo and my plans for DNA tracking pet dogs.
He thought I was being funny instead of serious.

Sometime last November I opened a multipack of Twix and found that several of the bars had been gnawed on both ends, through the wrapper. Now, I understand that a factory that handles biscuits and chocolate is probably home to some very happy mice, but I would also appreciate it if the quality control person wouldn't take time out during their personal siesta. I have lost all appetite for Mars Inc. chocolate products. Sticking to the local Cadbury's from now on... |
