so, everyone just waiting for Chumbles to arise from his slumbers? I have been 'busy' playing games*, listening to the cricket, besides watching the end of S1 of Lucifer and start of S2. (and sleeping) *AoW3 and NP2, in the latter I am seeing a game home. I'll win it in 30m time. Ok,so Chumbles is playing Neptune and Shenguin is experiencing exquisite agony. All is well with the world, and I can go to bed in the certainty that England will win a Test match tomorrow (yes 18 wkts, it will be like harvesting barley) |

Shock! Chumbles wins another NP2 game This was a completely new type of NP2 game for me; each player starts with 4 stars in the centre of a double ring cluster. The map shows me in yellow with my 4 starting stars marked with 4 red hexagons. The red X marks the position of my erstwhile ally. It took only just over 9 days from start to finish; my original ally, Cyan (TREX) is marked by an X - he went AFK over the middle weekend, during which Green (MarkyMark)*1 attacked and grabbed 10 of Cyan's stars, after the weekend Cyan returned, freaked out, quit owing me money and technology and became an AI. *2  And if you're top of the leaderboard all AI's are immediately hostile to you. So besides owing me money and tech, I became its preferred target just when I had all mine conquering the Conqueror of Worlds, two clusters away. *1 What sort of prepubescent imbecile chooses a fatuous alias like MarkyMark? *2 I'm the one with the dickhead avatar... It was an Extra Anonymity game, where no-one knows your true alias or sees your identifiable stats, so you can be as much of a dickhead as you want! And after all that... 56 vics |

Today I'm going to make lasagne. I will also watch all the sports franchises. Cricket (weather permitting). Jimmy has already taken a wicket. Then Paris Blues vs Munchen Reds in the Konami cup final tonight.

Lunchblog: I had some left-over Chinese chicken to eat (it was cooked after marinating in soy/honey/vinegar/sherry/mustard/ginger/garlic).
So knocked-up some tortillas (which surprisingly turned out okay), grilled some home-grown sweet red pepper, and served it all chopped up with some mayonnaise.
Boodiful. 4*

Pissing about in ACNH, sent Pyjakson the black leather armchair he'd been looking for. Put some effort into my first custom design. Taking the Switch out of the dock to use the touchscreen for this, disappointed that touchscreen can't be used, then worried as the JoyCons aren't responding correctly. Re-calibrated, still not working, restarted the console, problem fixed. Phew! Found my new 512GB micro SD card, haven't inserted it yet, but at least I know where it is. More The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky for social distancing streaming later this evening. |
