Morning all,
Gaming.
Played through the Mechanist DLC on Fallout 4. After completing it I then remembered that legendary gun I had which does 50% extra damage to machines.
Pompeii.
Today in 79 CE it happened, or probably didn't (wrong date). But I expect to see twitter and social media throng with related content. Of course I'll be stood on the sidelines shouting into the abyss with only an in depth researched article and podcast to show for my efforts.

Does it use a sensor to decide if they should be lit it not? My old MacBook in a software update turned that on but you could over ride it.
I don't know if the 5th word above is the correct spelling and I can't be arsed looking it up. So fuck off back to dictionary corner it's wrong .

I won a Fortnite solo game. No wins in duos though. Is someone dragging me down?
My solo win was the best. My opponent built so much stuff I couldn't get at him. Then the storm closed in and he was trapped upstairs.
I stood in the very centre as the storm drew in and when it closed I chugged jugs.
As I was doing this someone jumped from high above and died on landing. I'm not sure if the landing or storm damage killed him, but I won.
Conclusion fancy building strategy may be helpful, but only if you have a plan for the final fight

How do you cope with books that are supposed to be stored alphabetically in the library? Is it all oh fuck off I know my ABC, but this starts with a D! How do I deal with this? |

I very rarely shelve books. But when I do I know the order they go in thanks.
I've just been asked to write a guide to cataloguing Antiquarian books on our system and its a lot of work and I really, really can't be arsed.
Did I mention I've got a cold?

Am I right in thinking you're not an ALA? If so, bounce it back - you can deal with the technical side, but a "Professional" librarian should write the guide; you deal with system structure "A book mis catalogued becomes a lost book". There are squadrons of cataloguers at the national copyright libraries (i.e. National Library of Scotland, Edinburgh.) who would brandish their Colon Classifications in disgust |

Watched the footy last night. Fairly dull but worth it to see Neymar lose.
Games. More cricket 19. Resumed the first ashes test. I had Aus at 190 odd for 9 but the last wicket stand saw them pass 260. In reply I secured a 38 run 1st innings lead. Which is where I left it. First cricket video game I've played since Brian Lara on PS1. It's excellent. Four stars.
OTTM, My lasagne was ace.
