We won our first match of the new Fortnite season, so yeah, I'm kind of a big deal. About the same sized deal as me and Sheep2, though he was in a coffin at the medal ceremony. I killed both members of the second place duo on my own. So yeah, I'm kind of a big deal. Ooooh! Well done Shenguin, that's impressive. Probably worth a shameless repost in Friday's box. |

Not only was our duo win the first match of the season, but I ran out of AR bullets with 6 players left and won the match by hacking down the last player's tower with my pickaxe and murdering him/her with my mini machine gun.
That's how you win a game of Fortnite.

Since we have "Influencers" and "Big Deals" here I'm going to pretend to be a Streamer and only play the latest "hip"* games, so I'm starting Wasteland 3 on Game Pass.
I could play Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout but I have some self-respect.

back to my GTA story mode mission I did last night. 72% through it all now.
TV. Finished S1 of Good Girls.
OTTM. Clean the house, Asda delivery etc etc.

My influencing hasn't seen a rise in Amiga usage. I must be doing something wrong.

I'm dead chuffed with my new mic. It's a wireless clip-on mic that just works, and the audio quality is brilliant. Left my camera recording in the study whilst I walked around the rest of the house, and it neither lost communication nor quality. Fantastic bit of kit.
On the downside, the light-panel I also received doesn't want any of my external DC adapters plugged into it. So got some batteries on their way to me today.
Gamesblog: a smidge of Skyrim. I seem to have done every quest for the Mage college, so now am somewhat at a loose end.
TVblog: nope

Good Morning Everyone! Weather is nice and sunny here, very clear views across the sea from my office window.
There is too much work to do though. Possible because I have spent much of the week staring out of the window.
Baby, I hid in a series of bushes, left Sheep2 for dead, and waited for the enemy to present themselves conveniently in front of my assault rifle. 2 kills; player number 3 and player number 2. That's how I win a game of Fortnite.

Grim news from sector East. On the day my shiney new RAM chips are due to arrive, we are facing the arrival of Mrs G's youngest sons partner and newborn, who plan on staying the WHOLE WEEKEND, due to issues with his former partner, and child-who-doesn't-play-nicely who are staying with him. This means I have to clear out my gaming den to make room for airbed/cot etc, and convert my desk into a combined changing mat and sterilizing station.
I fear there will not be much hot joystick action anywhere in gong towers this weekend....

I've watched Amipals latest vid, and I can certainly tell you that I once owned an Amiga.
My video will be up tonight in a new segment called "Making Mistakes So You Don't Have To" where I deliberately tackle a project without any prior research.*
OTTM: we're risking going to the cinema tonight to see Empire Strikes Back for its 40th anniversary. I can't decide who will be the more terrifying masked individual, Darth Vader or the sweaty covid nerds.

amipal That looks brilliant, but on my OAP's budget I don't think I can afford it. I do have this already, but it's really hard to get it into position on the boom tripod with all the rest of my stuff without it picking up the airbed compressor via conduction ... I guess it's got to be a cradle.
