Another Greek dinner accompanied by another bottle of retsina. No need to go on a holiday in Mykonos and risk getting into a scrap there. Granted, the weather might be nicer, but I can't fault the food.
Currently catching up with Season 5 of Peaky Blinders.
One of the grandtwins flung himself backwards whilst sitting on his mum's lap and managed to chip off half of her front tooth with a coffee cup she was holding. Ouch. Even when they were smaller they were quite a handful. Before I met them I never had the experience of being beaten up by a baby.
They also had terrible flash flooding last Thursday. At least this didn't hamper their planned move to a bigger house as the whole thing has fallen through completely. It never rains but it pours (and then it floods the kitchen).

Dry spare ribs, beef and mushrooms in black bean sauce or duck in plum sauce, both with some form of egg fried rice. If we fancy something dirty we order the sweet and sour pork balls which definitely aren't good for anyone but tasty.
We haven't had a Chinese takeaway for a long time. I need to look into this.

Children that age have a tremendous lack of fear, a surfeit of uncontrolled athleticism, and very little situational awareness. |

Cantonese pork balls or beef in black bean sauce for me. The thing is, we have the best Chinese takeaway in Sheffield a ten minute walk down the road, but they don't deliver and make you wait ages when you agree to collect at a set time.

Kung Po Chilli Chicken
Beef in green pepper and black bean sauce.

Singapore Noodles
Games. Baldurs Gate - got to level 2 with my starting character - a bard. Making it really hard on myself. Also lost the guy with hamster familiar - because I wouldn’t go and rescue his friend. Might just go and rescue her now anyway!
Cinema. I went to one and saw Tenet. Enjoyed the film, saw some glaring editing errors - an over shoulder shot of one character lips moving while the other character was talking. Also some rubbish on the floor in another shot. That said, I really enjoyed it and want to see it again.
But not at the cinema - there was ‘t much in the line of social distancing going on - the cinema said they’d have ushers showing people to their seat to ensure that people sat apart - which didn’t stop the guy behind me breathing down my neck. And the guy who had to squeeze past me half way though the film.

To celebrate my last night of freedom, I too ordered a Chinese takeaway. I would usually agree with the noodles>rice, but last night I fancied rice. I also ordered far too much, so half of it is still staring at me this morning. The troops are back later so I best tidy up.
Salt and pepper special fried rice
Crispy chicken BALLS with szechuan sauce
Roast pork chop suey
Games, syphon filter.
OTTM, nope.

We usually share the Chinese and MrsC doesn't like black bean sauce so I've not had that in years.
About to attempt to use some ready mix mortar once I've finished my coffee. Be Googling local builders by lunchtime no doubt.
