Morning vassals, top of the banana to you!
Games - Started on CK3 as an Irish, but as soon as the tuting is over I'm planning on playing as a Mongolian horse lord and subjugating half of the known world. Also Iron Harvest because I'm a bad person and it reminds me of the look of Scythe which I deeply appreciated.
TV - secret life of the zoo. Lovely, fluffy stuff.
Audible - listened to the previews of the new partridge podcast. Peeling back the warm hood of celebrity to see the raw Alan inside. Lovely stuff. Planning on joining audible for the free month to binge listen them, then cancelling, because f Beff Jezos.
Music - dug out some of the old drum and bass vinyl and having a bit of a hoe down this morning. They don't make them like they used to. I'm down, but I'm not a hoe.
Work - Should probably get dressed before the meetings this afternoon. What a world.

Hello all - I’m still alive.
Had a few days off so been catching up on games. Played some castlevania anthology / requiem. Also picked up wasteland 3 yesterday. Didn’t even know it was coming out. Started it up & I like it. Combat seems a bit better than wasteland 2.

TV: finished season 5 of Peaky Blinders, all I've learnt is that there will be a season 6.

I am downloading the latest Fortnite update onto my Xbox for my holiday next week and it is screeching away at at a painfully high volume. I will not be purchasing an Xbox Series X.

I deleted the Whatsapp appication from my telephone in March. In the past I was able to reinstall it again and see all the chats I was in, with all the rich content that had come in while I'd been away. But today I re-installed it and all the chats had gone. I'd been deleted. All the content - lost in time ...

I started getting emails about people I used to work with but couldn't log in to turn the notifications off. I would like to live in a bivouac. |

Woke (/ˈwoʊk/): A political term of African American origin, refers to a perceived awareness of issues concerning social justice and racial justice. It derives from the African-American Vernacular English expression "stay woke", whose grammatical aspect refers to a continuing awareness of these issues. FYI: Ozymandias Kane is and always will be anti racist and against any form of social injustice. As a former (retired) traditional Martial Arts Instructor I have had the pleasure of teaching all walks of life - Black, White, Asian or other genres of human beings. The first rule when approaching the club was a sign posted outside by our seniors - "Leave your Ego at the door". I've probably told this story before but I shall say it again, when I was young I worked for Operation Rayleigh ('83-'84). I had just returned from the Bahamas after three months and was walking down from Stratford to Ilford, I was as brown as a nut as you can imagine, Essex (London) wasn't known for it's racial clarity back then and most of the people that I passed avoided me like the plague. I spent a full hour feeling what it felt like to be an ethnic Brit in those times and I can tell you for nothing it's not something I would ever want to experience again, the animosity was abhorrent and I made the decision at that time to never be a racist or consider ethnic persons in a negative way again. I was a typical Essex lad before then not necessarily racist by any means as my foster brother Michael was Asian but still brought up into that culture. So NO- Kane is not of that despicable path. When everyone was stockpiling toilet paper I walked home one night, stopping at shops on deserted streets, cramming my pockets with painkillers and toiletries. I was limping a bit too. Fantastic atmosphere. Like Bloodborne. Then it started getting lighter in the evenings and lost the magic a little. I'm glad the dark nights are on the way back. I'm anticipating The second wave. |
