Super Mario 3D collection! Only available to buy for 6 months then presumably erased from existence! Classic Nintendo. Luckily I have absolutely no interest in it anyway.

Fife chat! We're off to Lower Largo to the MIL's pals cottage at the end of the month. Just for the weekend. The home of Alexander Selkirk, the real-life inspiration for Robinson Crusoe. Apparently he was stuck in Fife for years before he was finally rescued.

Hello. I see that Kane isn't woke, what else is new. NO- Kane is not of that despicable path. Kane I was referring to your self-confessed need for coffee, but I'm glad to know that caffeine deficiency has not affected your ability to quote Wikipedia.

I’m choosing to read this as North Fife being the home to some kind of undead eldritch horror. I'm choosing to read this as you view RollingEscargot as some kind of undead eldritch horror. They say there is a terror stalking Wormit*. *possibly near Wormit.

A visit to the vets for some tablets may resolve this.

A visit to the vets for some tablets may resolve this. As well as the obligatory pun, you should probably admit your disconcerting and deep-seated obsession with the rail disaster there.

It's not disconcerting. It's normal. Everyone is obsessed by the Tay Bridge disaster.
Rolling Escargot even moved to there just so he can view the beautiful railway bridge of the silvery Tay every day.

Are we still allowed to call them 'mail' trains? It;s not 1879 any more you know.

Ok ok I admit it, I'm a coffeeholic - but I have cut down to 4 jugs per day. OTTM: If you don't quote Wiki every now and again you'll end up going mad. Oh! (well it has been a while since the last time, strange things happen to the mind without it). lurk lurklurk

hi! Yes - I am still in London. The start of the lockdown was good. When everyone was stockpiling toilet paper I walked home one night, stopping at shops on deserted streets, cramming my pockets with painkillers and toiletries. I was limping a bit too. Fantastic atmosphere. Like Bloodborne. Then it started getting lighter in the evenings and lost the magic a little. I'm glad the dark nights are on the way back. I'm anticipating The second wave. As soon as Bojo wobbled on Barnard Castle, everyone down South decided that lockdown was completely over. A world-shattering level of complacency and naivety down here.

Super Mario 3D collection! Only available to buy for 6 months then presumably erased from existence! Classic Nintendo. Good thing you said that. I just managed to get a pre-order in for a physical copy. It's a nice enough collection and I've never been able to get my hands on Mario Sunshine. But why on earth is there a limited release for the digital edition??! Hang on, let me put on one of my bespoke hats. Ah, that's better. By the end of March, when Super Mario 3D All-Stars will cease to be available, the Lizard People, also known as Yoshis, will take over the world and, powered by 5G masts, swallow everyone and turn them into eggs. Only the faithful ones who passed the test by purchasing this game compilation will escape this fate. Oh, and Nintendo meant to add Mario Galaxy 2 to the collection but they ran out of time because of the pandemic. Luckily I have absolutely no interest in it anyway. So you have chosen your fate as an egg. What colour do you want to be?

Beautiful Railway Bridge of the Silv’ry Tay! Alas! I am very sorry to say That ninety lives have been taken away On the last Sabbath day of 1879, Which will be remember’d for a very long time.
Not my words, but the words of William McGonagall

How can anyone talk about the Tay Bridge disaster without quoting the immortal words of the finest poet of the English tongue, William McGonagall? Edit: Dammit, Destry

The biggest loser is Shenguin. He had first chance to go for a quote and failed.
