First of all, M$ have got a massive update; 12 minutes and about 6 restarts at 5.45 a.m. - and my machine AND broadband is 360mb. So lots of this: And I completely lost the internet for half an hour early this morning... and that was a pain. And another white night

Morning all.
Thanks for the suggestions yesterday for the boy's first day of school. Didn't refresh the page til this morning. I think a large chunk of the group he was in at nursery are going to be in the same class as him, so at least there should be some familiarity there for him. He's just put his uniform on. Excuse me, I promised myself I wouldn't cry... Party on! 🤘
Gamesblog: Skyrim, and did a massive Draugr tomb which really built up the tension and terror of the final showdown... which I one-shot killed. Oh.
TVblog: The Office (US).

Tough day, amipal. On the upside, you'll have forgotten all about him by half nine, and platinummed Skyrim before he's back demanding to watch Pingu.

It's good if there are plenty kids from nursery. Mainly as you'll know the parents. We didn't as the one attached to the school was term time only.

Played footgolf at the weekend. Good fun.

Another AoW3 game bites the dust; meet my new heroine, an Elven Rogue. It's a great way to while away a sleepless night.

Morning.
Games: Played some Wasteland 3 then started the CK3 tutorial, downloaded Disgaea 4 complete and got to the main hub and finally settled on downloading and playing the opening of Kingdoms of Amalur re-reckoning.

Kid 1 starts school next September, we had the letter prompting us to make our school decision on Friday. The Same kid started football practice yesterday and spent the entire time shell shocked in the corner with two fingers in his mouth. That's the next Lionel Messi right there.
No games.
Telly: The Boys, where they encountered a whale.

You try and take a photo in a manned NCP is see how long it takes them to come and pay you a visit. "You can't take photos in 'ere, mate." is what I got. I got around it by telling them I was taking photos of the hotel's historic fascade opposite.

Try taking photos behind security at Madrid airport - a large lad with guns appears and makes you stain your new holiday shorts.

Brilliant sunshine here too. But I am trapped inside first day back at work with 120 emails to respond to.

But never really talked to them. That would mean exchanging pleasantries with people who I've already judged as wanting from afar.

1) Turkish military sites 2) Military sites of other countries 3) Ayers Rock* 4) schools 5) escalators 5a) Prisons at night
* Specifically if you call it Ayers rock rather than Uluru

Just a few minutes priceless social contact with a functional adult* who will let them talk endlessly about children isn't too much to ask * in the same sense as functional alcoholic

Attenburg
It was quite interesting. Long on problems, not much on the benefits.
I'd like to become a professional driver of biodiversity reduction I think. Can you airlift a fleet of Humvees to me?
Games Just Fortnite A couple of good solid duos wins last night.
Books The Fifth Risk Michael Lewis It was quite interesting. Nice and short Really made it clear how much damage is done by governments simply not valuing and understanding existing structures.

A couple of solid Duos wins, in which we were both alive for the medal ceremony, although I did finish one of the games crawling to our final opponent to try to bite their ankles, while Sheep, in a rather boring and conventional manner, stuck with shooting them.

I struggle to keep track on what's happening in Fortnite now, I popped in for a game and there were flying drone things, green lasers shooting about and some strange raised island or maybe a mountain even.

I took 0 damage in that game. And only made 1 kill. The final opponent.
So pretty much a perfect game.
Much better than the other win where we had 11 kills (5 for me), but I took a little damage.

Phew wot a scorcher!
Hi
I'm worving in the garden. And when I say worving, I mean sitting in my deck chair soaking up my anti bat flu vitamin D. Can't do that in an office. Screw you Johnson!
The cricket was great yesterday, Aus did an England, again! That was some collapse. Morgan is a superb captain. And Archer, phwooaar! Lethal pace.
No games. Again.
