I'm getting a COVID test in the post. Chosen at "random", but really I know that puts me on the big hitters list. Got to keep essential high rollers in play.
Hot today.

Well the odds of actually surviving such an endeavour are astronomical all things considered, although Kane is Zombie proof so at least there's a fighting chance. I expect buckets of coffee will be involved, which is nice. 2 boiled eggs and soldiers for lunch, I'm hoping that the eggs will protect me from the vampire virus zombies currently grazing on the locals. (I need to get out more)!

Phew wot a scorcher! ... The cricket was great yesterday, Aus did an England, again! That was some collapse. Morgan is a superb captain. And Archer, phwooaar! Lethal pace. Fortunately the first four wickets of the collapse involved hitting the stumps, thereby not giving our hapless, hopeless bunch of 'batsmen' the opportunity to follow up their amateur performance with the bat by demonstrating their multidisciplinary incompetence. The bowling unit scored the same number of runs as the batters. I've been avoiding saying this, but Moeen's lack of confidence is a toxic luxury that England cannot afford. Without Morgan it floods and paralyses the team. Finally, why was Dawid Malan, with a T20 average of 48.71 not playing

Egg mayonnaise sandwiches are basically just mayonnaise sandwiches at low resolution.

Shenguin has 4K egg mayonnaise sandwiches. He is looking forward to 8K.
That's over the course of the average month.

"the curse of the average month"
I'm going to assume that's not a typo but a deeply unpleasant misogynistic joke I haven't quite understood.

Morning. Games: Played some Wasteland 3 then started the CK3 tutorial, downloaded Disgaea 4 complete and got to the main hub and finally settled on downloading and playing the opening of Kingdoms of Amalur re-reckoning. What do you think of wasteland 3?

Sleep: insufficient Lunch: hot dogs, beer Weather: warm Last night's TV: The Avengers. "The Superlative Seven" episode (with Donald Sutherland and Brian Blessed). It's astonishing how one can remember things one has seen once decades later Games: ACNH and, for the social distancing stream, Ninja Pizza Girl, humorous little platforming speedrunning kind of game with slight flaws OTTM: Last night I was slightly taken aback to read that this folly and potential white elephant close to home has been given planning permission: www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2020/sep/13/eternal-wall-of-prayer-outside-birmingham-gets-go-aheadThere's more than a whiff of Tower of Babel about the whole thing. I saw that someone on Twitter already reminded the organisers and their donors of Matthew 19:24 (" And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God."). I was just thinking of Jesus and his whole charity shtick and how he never mentioned that he was very fond of giant Möbius strips. I don't know whether this project will succeed in its aim "to preserve the Christian heritage of the nation", but it has certainly got me praying (for the whole thing to be abandoned in a half-finished state after being grossly over budget). At least some good has already come from it: I now know that our noble West Midlands Mayor Andy Street is still alive, 'cause you wouldn't have known from his track record in working for the region.

John The Brummie 3:16
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life and a giant Mobius strip actually.

If it’s not too late.
Guacamole on toasted sourdough bread.
As I own a house, I’m just rubbing it in the noses of hipsters.
Baldurs Gate. Had been having trouble taking down an Ogre Mage in the sewers, when I came across an arrow in a shop that specifically killed Ogre Mages. How convenient. I’m now scouting the shops for arrows that end the game.

What do you think of wasteland 3? From my point of view is that it is a good game and I enjoy playing it but I'm not going to put the time in. You need to be into that Fallout 1/2 mood and the whole isometric thang.
