OTTM: weight lifting and busy at work. For the record I am benching 15 reps of 50 kilograms. Just the one set, or did you spread it out over 15 hours?

15 reps? Pah! Give him seven pints and a bad pun and I've heard Sheep2 do well over 20 reps.

15 reps of 50 kg which includes the weight of the 10 kg bar. This was done twice with a gap in between of a couple of minutes. I did a warm up set at the beginning of 20 reps of 30 kg.
Squats were done too, but I have back problems and narrow hips, so those weights were small and embarrassing.

Asking for someone who cares.

15 reps? I know travel agents are suffering due to the repurcussions of the pandemic, but there have to be better ways to make money than going on the game with BabyfarkmcGeezak as a customer.

Morning all.
My get-up-and-go has gone. I think I'd actually like to go back to the office now.
Gamesblog: Skyrim. A shield returned to the jarl of Markarth, some Forsworn and Hagravens zapped and ker-boomed in the Reach, and a cave cleared for Namira. All in an evening's work.
TVblog: no.
YouTubeblog: RLM's Re:View of The Mandalorian. They liked it. Some good comparisons between it and Star Trek Discovery - like how you can tell more from how a man with a tin-can on his head is feeing than any of the characters in Disco.
Amigablog: quick game of Ruff'n'Tumble. More like Tough'n'Rumble! Very tricky shooty-platformer, but great game.

Well, I was impressed, at least until I got to the stuff about the narrow hips.

Squats were done too, but I have back problems and narrow hips, so those weights were small and embarrassing. Nice, I never had a spotter so made do with DBs (shoulder problem made the bar an issue). I hurt my back years ago doing pendlay rows, squats were always an issue (as with deadlifts). If your gym or setup has a hexagon bar this can be a nice alternative. It's a deadlift move but hits the legs and reduces the involvement of the back. Don't be embarassed by what you can or cannot lift. Most injuries at the gym are due to ego. If you have an injury you need to manage it.

Your ego is writing cheques your body can't cash.

15 reps of 50 kg which includes the weight of the 10 kg bar. Are you absolutely sure that bar weighs 10kgs, in my day they were about 6.
In all honesty, I think you're doing fine. *thimbs up* emoji.

most bars I've used were either 15 or 20kg. Might be lifting more than realised!

Most bars I've used recently have been three and a half to four pounds. Five to six pounds if you go to a city. Probably more in London.

I don't hold with all that. And I especially don't hold with expensive bars, unless there are no alternative cheaper bars.
