Jaipur or Roaring Meg? Genuine question. Jaipur. I'm not familiar with Roaring Meg. I'm now drinking Weston's Vintage Cider. NOOOOOO......

KoA R-R
I've just saved a town from a spider attack and told the leader, whose life I also saved, that the person behind it was "The Widow" a Fae enchantress who can control all the spiders and his response was "I was hoping for an army but all we've got is you, so you deal with it and we'll wait in the pub".
Not happy.

I'm not reading all that.
Happy Birthday, Destry!
Sharing a birthday with Peter Falk and B.B. King is all good and well, but you were also born the same year as the Pref. Mam., so it's the vintage that counts. It was a good year.

Weston's vintage or old Rosie? Both are too drinkable to be that strength. Brewdog asking for a new beer name, couldn't go that wrong this year could it?

Morning all, I’m decidedly worst for where after yesterday’s epic round trip to the office with a big bag of stuff. Couldn’t sleep as the leg was out of whack at bed time.
Whose looking forward to the ps5 event? Demons, 450£, I’m Batman.
Many happy birthdays of the day to Destry, must be quite something to breach the 70s.

Westons is top banana, I used to drink that pre bat pox as it was the only cider that didn’t come in a 2 litre plastic bottle that they had in the local co op. Lovely stuff
Now as a metropolitan elite with a three digit first-half postcode I only drink aperol spritzes, coffee bags and Earl grey.

Finally killed "The Widow" and her thousands of spiders and all I got in return was enough money to repair my gear, I should have taken her up on her offer of killing everyone in the town instead.
Ungrateful bastards.

Fuck sake, having to pull out of the house purchase. Planning application has been approved for the construction of a 25 property estate just behind the house.
Fuck sake. Cunts.

New house chat, bought one where the next door neighbours concreted there whole back garden between survey and completion 2 weeks later. Somehow the entire length of fence on that side of the garden fell down, if your going to do that at least hope there was a storm to cover your tracks. Also new kitchen floor is just lino on top of lino. Not stuck down well either.

Fuck sake, having to pull out of the house purchase. Planning application has been approved for the construction of a 25 property estate just behind the house. Fuck sake. Cunts. Unlucky Scubes*. The 'streamlining' of planning applications - ostensibly to provide more homes for da people and construction jobs - is nothing more than a way to provide smaller and smaller houses at inflated costs to line the pockets of Tory party donors. BoJoCum and their corrupt cronies are ripping a hole through green belt legislation. You're just the unlucky bastard in the fallout from this insanity. The only consolation is you hadn't already moved. Various functionaries keep suggesting I downsize into a flat so someone else can have my place and use it properly. The floor area of the suggested places are typically 30% smaller than the ground floor of my house. I'm fucked if I'm going to move into a shoebox, isolated from any amenities (because developers promise the latter, but then never build them). Aylesbury has 3 massive new estates with near zero improvements to the rail or road systems - the only new infrastructure is HS2, which doesn't stop within 45m of here, but which is being built approximately 600 metres across a stream from me (so they don't have to pay us compensation). And recently there was an attempt to push through planning approval for a small estate between the route and us. And these would have been under electricity power lines right next to the HS2 embankment on land that regularly floods! The planning system in Tory councils has been bent for many many years. *Rhymes with pubes.
