I've got no news. I spent a lot of the weekend playing Football Manager 2020. Well ... I handed in my resignation in at 1.30 on Sunday morning, so spent a lot of time the next day just applying for jobs.
The BBC understood. Niall Ferguson is a good man.
I'm now manager of Darlington FC.

While the infection rates are low on Dorset, we have to factor in Destry's age and the general lack of hygiene among the 'spoons clientele he is no doubt rubbing shoulders (and God knows what else) with.
Therefore I believe Destry may not survive Dorset and I have dibs on being in charge should be perish.

Civ IV complete for only £3.79! The Complete Edition includes Civilization IV, plus all three expansions: Warlords, Beyond the Sword and Colonization... although the latter is really a different game. I play it with Fall from Heaven 1.00g (123 MB, updated 12/16/2006) clocking up over 7k hours. I am currently following the Octopus Overlords on an islands map, so The Drown are really useful; this is the upgrade path...

I tried civ 4 once and found it completely incomprehesible. Not as bad as Crusader Kings II, mind you.
Games: FM19. I am near the top of the table with Barnet despite losing 7-2 to Aldershot in the season opener. It's quite good fun but I think I;ve delegated too much to the assistant manager. All I seem to do is click 'continue' and watch the matches. 4 stars.

I think that's the way. I changed all the staff, then took over their responsibilties, then sacked them.
My team was a right mess. After I left it lost the next six games and dropped into the regional premier division .....
