Yesterday's footie was very very strange... On a day of mighty banana skins, the Gunners* didn't step on one, Everton and Aston Villa are unbeaten and the mighty Liverpool had a collective brain fart of unbelievable proportions ... *Liverpool lost 7-2 and are the first reigning champions to concede seven goals in a league game since ...
... Sunderland beat Arsenal 7-1 in 1953. My team's capacity for losing matches they should've won is horribly consistent.

Scam - you can ring up Overclockers and ask them if you can download RAM from them.

Watched Branagh's Murder on the Orient Express, sumptuous nonsense, I preferred it to the 1974 film. 4*

Can’t Scam just go down to the record store and get RAM on 12” vinyl?

Morning all
Games - after watching the team I support get a right pasting from the Villa, I desperately tried to find something I could shoot at. Started the warzone download, realised it was 100+gb, and went to bed. This was after using red wine then white wine to wash out my eyes. I am now blind and have a headache. Work is a blessed release.
C'est comme ça

Gunnersaurus RIP. Well redundant, anyway.
The best thing about Arsenal by a mile.
Will 2020 never stop?

Watched the Irishman last night. It was ok, absolutely no need for it to be 3.5 hours long though.

I'm working from home. There's nobody else here. I'm cooking veggie burger and fried egg sandwich for brunch, and listening to de Victoria's Officium Defunctorum.

Hello
I watched Aston Villa trounce Liverpool yesterday. Pretty upsetting. Having said that ... I would have been ok with an Aston Villa win. I know Sheep2 hates them but .. I like the way they've come back. I like that Dean Smith and Jack Grealish are both supporters. I don't like that John Terry is there ... A win would have been ok. A rout - Not so much. Still - My Dad was happy.

Morning all.
Gamesblog: no.
TVblog: Friday's ep of The Boys. By the end of this series, it'll just be Bill Butcher saying "c*nt" repeatedly, and nothing else. And an episode of The Office (US).
Filmblog: I wanted to watch the entire LOTR trilogy this weekend, but Sunday evening did not provide the hours required for Return of the King. Two out of three ain't bad.
Amigablog: played some Quake.

Hate is such a weak word. Inadequate
I have bitter and unpleasant memories of their success in the early 1980s and the subsequent gloating while we were struggling.
I am like Gollum, brooding over petty resentments in the dark. It's pretty comforting.

OTTM
I bought some nice chocolate biscuits in M&S on Thursday. They were stolen by people in the office.

I was convinced I saw King Theoden / Captain Edward Smith / the husband from Shirley Valentine, in Kephalonia recently, but it was just a raffish Greek gent ...

The name was met with indifference / dismissal in the Merseyside conurbation.

Being a Blues fan was like being an Everton fan only without 1985-87 and with the neighbours much gloatier for much less reason. If you speak to any Blues fan between 40-55 you'll find we are almost all bitter twisted individuals with an overwhelming resentment. It's pretty pathetic. Why would you want to define a large part of your identity by a sense of resentment? No sane person would.
