Morning folks.
TV. No
Games. Yes!
Played a bit of the NFS ps+ game.
It's ok I suppose.
Then I shoved on the COD:MW2 rerub that was on ps+. Did the "controversial" Russian airport mission. Then the mincing about in a snow storm mission. I might have just been tired but possibly FPS movement was making me queasy. Must be the Rona.

Cloudy out, bit of rain.
Our supermarket delivery was covered in milk, most of it had to be sent to back. The Sainsbury's guy put the tray on the floor and everything was swimming in milk, the guy said "I thought I could see a bit of milk but thought it would be alright".
Telly: Bake Off
Games: I have now completed two games this year, Doom and Halo Reach. Take that 2020!

Morning,
Some poor unfortunate accidentally sent a meeting invitation to the entire organisation. Then despite her very quickly sending an email explaining that it was a mistake and that it should be ignored, so far about 45 people have replied, cc'ing approximately 800 people, with variations of "I don't understand what this is, have you sent it to the wrong person?"

It wasn't me, although I can sympathise, as I once thought I'd embedded a file in another document, but instead of the correct file it was the url to the 'box.

This happened at our place about 4 years ago, only it was literally everyone in the organisation on the group mailing lists, so all day long a constant stream of "I don't know why I got this?" or the even more annoying "Can people please stop replying to all" and "I think the sender is aware now". |

Bit stormy out at sea today. The wind is blowing the brine into a fine muzzle here.
Gamesblog: Skyrim. A skooma den got a visit from me, and I annihilated everything. EVERYTHING.
TVblog: Ghosts on iPlayer. Entertaining, will watch more of it.
Amigablog: Another level of Quake completed last night, then started on another one. That second one was like a vertical maze, with changing walkways and lifts. Confusing! I got crushed by the lift by standing to the side when it went up...

Morning amipal has been muzzled now? harsh. Games! MSbugFest2020 continues to amaze and frustrate in equal measures. Having borked my bushtrip round the Sierra Nevadas, I downloaded the new Japan pack and set off on a 600 mile trip with a group of about 20 randoms. Top fun. About 2 hours in, and approaching Mt Fuji it stuttered and crashed me out. On reloading, I was back on the runway, on my own. Bollocks. |

We had something at work that was bizarre. I had a message on-screen along the lines of 'Kevin Lewis is a twat'. So did the other 20,000 of my work colleagues*. This was swiftly followed by a 'sender has recalled the message'. * No, I didn't do a survey, but it was a global message.
Everybody in my office (150 peeps) received it.

I once had to deal with an angry punter who following an engineer visit was sent a copy of the techys notes, which contained 'Customer Mr B is a complete twat and if I saw him down the pub i'd kick the shit out of him'.
