Bit fresh out there this morning.
We have a woman coming round to pick up kids clothes from Facebook sales, but she messed me around all of yesterday and will apparently be here "sometime after 9". Very fuckin' helpful.
I plan a long trip to the shops soon.

Morning all! Half term is over, so the boy is back to school and I am back to work. Joy. TVblog: Seinfeld and B5. Gamesblog: having borrowed my mate’s OSSC, I tested the various retro consoles I own to see if it would be the best option for connecting them to an HDMI-only telly. Both the PS2 and GameCube displays look gorgeous, both plugged in to the OSSC via scart cables. Tested FFX on the former, MKDD on the latter. The CD32, though… no dice. I plugged the s-video output into a scart converter block, and also tried composite, and neither provided an image. Turns out the OSSC requires a purely RGB signal (via either scart or component). So I’m now on the lookout for a device that can handle both scart and svideo, with minimal lag. Is this OSSC better than a KAICO HDMI adapter? I have the latter and the picture quality isn't great. |

I think many of the UFOs are reconnaissance craft sent by AI from an earth in an alternative dimension that are scouting for resources or threats from rival AI.

Amipal leaving me hanging there. What is this Amiga Core? One of those plug in HD boxes they made to look like an Amiga? The Mister is an FPGA system, so “cores” are written to program the FPGA to rewire. This means that the chip itself perfectly represents the system - so there are cores for computers, consoles, arcade machines. This also means that they are cycle-exact. There’s nothing to get in the way of input/output like with emulation, so the feel of the machine is bang-on. I have literally no idea what any of this means. |
