I've got a friend who's friends with Martin Scorsese. You could say he's a friend of a friend. I haven't met him. Great guy though apparently. Loves films.

Today I made a batch of green tomato ketchup using some of the glut of green tomatoes from our garden.
I just tried some of it on my bacon cheeseburger. Delicious. 4 stars. Would recommend.

Morning all!
Video James - got a lot of Dragon Quest XI in over the weekend, top shelf banana. Fat in some Dvininit y original sin on the home laptop too, it seems decent. More TFT too, no winns. Still having second thoughts about the PS5, I've not touched the PS4 in a week at least. Then again I think I've swayed the finger on the (relatively) massive 4K TV purchase. We still have a 27 incher or so, I expect a >40 incher will melt our faces.
PS5 Launch purchase list - Demon's Souls, DMC5, The Pathless, Godfall. Also might try that free Destiny 2 I've heard so much about, check out the Vault of Ass.
I almost forgot - Genshin Impact on the dog and phone - top banana. Works surprisingly well and quite fun for a handheld Breath of what ilWild. And no weapon degradation, its only the game Zelda could have been.

Glut of green tomatoes is such and such's favourite new band. I jest, I too have a MASSIVE LOAD of green tomatoes to try and not waste. I've looked at a chutney recipe but hadn't considered ketchup, so will have a look. When I get my house back that is, instead of living in a cave. Hopefully tomorrow. |

Tuffers I based mine on this recipe, but added a cooking apple, a green chilli, and garlic powder and used brown sugar instead of honey. I threw it all into the slow cooker for several hours and then blended it. I then reduced it in a pan to a ketchup consistency.

I am still doing a 2tb file transfer; I will still be doing it on Wednesday. Meanwhile, I've been wondering who else has a 'borrowed' pint glass; a trophy of a favourite pub? Mine was from The Eagle in Old Amersham. A very very eccentric pub where there waa no music, no food. When John Poore, the landlord* was calling his very last orders, he he winked and told us the new people were auditing the place the next day, so he'd count the barrels while we drank up and let ourselves out. He shook our hands and disappeared into the cellar. So we took the hint and the glass we were using!  Me thinking up nonsense to tell you... *John's wife Peg, never came down the stairs into the pub unless she thought it was time to close. Stentorian voice, pink fluffy slippers and housecoat, baggy saggy stockings and a turn of phrase which would make a sailor blush. We were told to "fuck off and don't make me come down stairs to see to you" - we never actually saw above her knees, such was the horror of the bits we could see. |
