You're ex is still feeding you? She invited me round for dinner last night and gave me the leftovers for today. I am quite capable of cooking for myself, and do so regularly. I put some stuff in her loft, vacuumed her house, and showed her how to take apart and oil her Yale lock, which was very stiff and liable to seize. It seemed a reasonable and friendly transaction. |

Lunch was steak and kidney pie.
This morning we've finally got our car back, I received Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and Metroid: Samus Returns in the mail and Scubar started his new job. For a Monday morning this was a decent showing.
Last night, having exhausted our viewing we started Mad Men - hadn't seen it before. The amount of smoking going on is only rivalled by this forum in our desperate attempts to be cool. Ended the evening by listening to Um Kulthum, as this makes Mr Enemy nostalgic and prompts him to correct the translation of the subtitled lyrics like the pedant he is.
Now that I've got Xenoblade Chronicles 2 I'm conflicted how to tackle my backlog. Skyrim first or going back to XC 1 and then 2? I hadn't got far when I abandoned it.
Edit: Also got a serious backache from carrying around children and lifting them onto swings, seesaws etc. in the playground on Saturday. I think I'm getting old.

Skyrim, but only the snazzy SE edition (or Switch version if playing on that). Also, is Scubar still in Preston?
