Hello. Lunch was minestrone left over from yesterday. Dinner will be pie leftover from yesterday.

Had a tip-off that the Kafesjian family are moving reefer large from Bido Lito's.
Went down to brace Tommy K. but noticed Dudley's boys Breuning and Carlisle sniffing about. Bad hombres.
Retreated to Scrivener's drive-in for a grilled cheese. It was OK.

Can't go wrong with American Tabloid, which is tremendous. You'll spot most of the Lunch Reviews embedded in that. My Dark Places is a harrowing account of Ellroy's 2009 visit to Nando's in Leicester with Michael Winner. |
