Chilly, damp and gloomy. The weather's not too good either... Oh, and GoG have the Age of Wonders 3 AND its 2 DLC, Eternal Realms and Golden Worlds on discount for £17 for another two days, instead of the £51 they normally cost. If you do get it, I have a tested modpack that makes the game even better! Just message me... |

Raining outside. Today I'm going to paint a ceiling. Then making a beef curry for tonight. Booze stocks are low so I'll need to remedy that. No games last night.

Amigablog: Dune 2, and penultimate mission completed. Ended up being quite the slog, I can tell you. Next mission is against the Emperor himself.

Dark and damp outside.
TV: Finished The Shining. I can't even remember when I had last watched it, but it was certainly before I was aware of various theories and interpretations, so that was interesting. Pref. Mam. isn't one who likes to discuss films but "I guess for a horror film it's quite good" is high praise.
Animal Crossing: Last night my villagers were particularly needy. Some of the new underwater creatures for this month are still being elusive. This bothers me.
OTTM: Today Pref. Mam. received a letter from Door Matt Hancock and Honest Bob Jenrick. Apparently he's on first name terms with Hancock who just signs himself "DoorMatt". They are writing to him because he's been "previously identified as someone thought to be clinically extremely vulnerable and at highest risk of becoming very unwell" if he catches COVID-19 and they are full of good(?) advice.
The letter is dated 4 November, so took 10 days to arrive. That's an improvement on the last lockdown when Pref. Mam. only got his letter after several weeks, just as it was almost over. Which makes their assertion that they are planning to write to him again with further information before the end of the current national restrictions on 2 December look slightly ambitious. Still, it's the thought that counts.
