I'm posting this in both boxes.
What ya gonna go about it, eh?
"Tower Knight, RIP, in peace"
He wept and begged for mercy, but I crushed him like a, erm, empty beer can. Yeah!
Smashed his big stupid face in.
Back in the game...
Ive found a sweet, easy, farming spot at the first castle. Blue knight, red eye knight, souls! A run round the smithing grounds beforehand meant I could upgrade weapons with my stones. What a massive difference! I was still in standard grade bastard sword, now on +3. Where was Sheep2 telling me this helpful info ? Too busy on his platinum run, I'll bet.
The git.

Tuffers - you are one sad git. "A run round the smithing grounds beforehand meant I could upgrade weapons with my stones". That's a price I wouldn't pay, although amipal might (oops, too late, he's had them modded). Shenguin might see you tomorrow

Someone hacked my account yesterday. Fortunately I was able to get it back and post a cogent and quality post about Skyrim.

Someone hacked my account yesterday. Fortunately I was able to get it back and post a cogent and quality post about Skyrim. To be fair the immense stuff, including the latest interview with LJ Trafford is well-researched, intelligent, informative ... 4*

Dark Souls 3 - picked it up cheap in the sale, and made a good start (for me) playing as a knight, took down Judge Grindr on the second attempt (first try I let my distance and tried to firebomb him, second attempt got all up in his grill) and also beat the sword master (by getting the bow, jumping on top of the roof and shooting him full of arrows from a distance) so now I have his itchycoogitana (which I can’t use yet as my dexterity is too low)
Great stuff, wall of text, 4 stars.

Hi!
Sunny and cold out. A perfect December morning.
I've already posted, twice, what I did last night. It took me a while to drop off to sleep. A good example of the old saying, 'if at first you don't succeed, farm shit loads of souls and beef up your chopper'.
BanyF trying to start Wench-gate 2 I see.
Scubar, I never tried out the Kerry Katona sword. Didn't have the Dexy's.
Crumpets for brekkers. Delish!

Morning all
It's here! One shiny new GFX card, delivered safely and installed, despite the best efforts of my dog, who took an instant dislike to the delivery minion, and sat in the doorway snarling at him. Maybe she knew this card might mean a lot less walkies over the coming months.... In a humorous one-act drama, he left the box in the drive, took a picture of the dog as proof of delivery and scarpered.
Installation was a breeze, apart from a few headscratching minutes looking between the 6-pin connector from my old card, and the 8-pin connector on the new one. Traced the power cables back, and found the optional extra 2-pin plug I needed. Whoop-ah.
To test the beast I fired up MSFS20 and whaddaya know? System does not meet game requirements. Funny. Pushed settings to Ultra, and getting 180FPS on 1080p so that'll do nicely. Before I was struggling to get 60FPS on 'High'.
Cyber77? Bring it on, I'm as ready as I can be.
OTTM - TentHen - Sorry to hear about PM yesterday - hope the news is better today.

Pretty sure I'm further through DS3 than scubar is, but I have no idea what he's talking about. I recently hacked at the balls on a big slimy monster until it died. Then I wondered round a bit, trying to work out what to do next.

Then I wondered round a bit, trying to work out what to do next. Basically I’ve done the tutorial. And a tiny bit of the first level. Roughly about half as far as I got the first time I played it.

Tuffers
If you have killed the Tower Knight the best farming point early doors is to go back from him. Two blue knights and 3 archers. It's not so much the souls as the 4 guaranteed healing items and the possibility of more.
The other farming point is the rays in 4-3. They are superb for souls.

Cracked Worlds.
(Part Of Demon's Souls obsvs)
These are bizarre. I ended up playing left handed. You can swap weapons, but you can't change your stance. So you can't play wrong handed in a left handed world.
If you try you use a weapon for blocking and a shield to attack. I ran all the way through 2-1 very excitedly only to discover that there are no secrets in 2-1

Good Morning Everyone!
I now have four cookies. I am happy, though slightly puzzled. Tuffers has 8 (eight!) hot potatoes. I prefer my cookies.

People keep throwing potatos at me.
I mean its better than the usual rocks followed by chase-up-the-hill-with-pitforks-and-torches-to-the-rickety-windmill routine I normally have to put up with, but still, I wish they wouldn't
Seriously though, I have no idea what they mean. Stop it. Are you people (this place) spending real money on these things? Please tell me theyre free you sad cunts.
Games: I can't stop thinking about the conclusion to RDR2 last night. It was so...bad. The more I think about the whole game, the more I realise I just didn't enjoy it.
Other: we're hoping lockdowns end means we can get another rescue cat. Our one remaining boy seems very lonely.

I'm not sure where they keep coming from. Anyway, in an Edward Longshanks-esque attempt to keep the union together, I gave/tossed one to Melvazord the Bruce earlier, to buy his freedom. He's probably sculptured it into an Orc.

I am not going to rise to Melvazord's RDR2 bait. If he wants to be wrong that's entirely up to him.

Morning.
Who is good with mail merges? I have a huge spreadsheet with many columns, but some of those columns are blank for some employee rows. When I do the merge I want to remove entirely the rows with the blank entry which vary per employee. I have no idea how to do this though without sticking a macro in the word doc, which I would prefer not to have to do.

Hello ... I played Player Unknown's Battlegrounds for a while last night, dying in very ignominious circumstances. I tried parachuting into the sea and floating under the surface, like a crocodile, waiting for my time. When my time came, though, I couldn't swim fast enough and ended up floundering on the rocks as the safe zone disappeared. My tactic is usually 'avoid other people at all costs'. I tried this but got rumbled. Always rumbled. There has to be a way.

Put 'n/a' in the blanks, in the spreadsheet.

I have no idea how to do this though without sticking a macro in the word doc, which I would prefer not to have to do. Can you do it in Excel using Concatenate, e.g. =CONCATENATE(A3," ",B3) etc, so all the text is in one column in Excel? Though my preferred option would be to get someone else to do it for me. I'd avoid using mail merge in Word if at all possible.
